Really cool atmosphere, i'd really like a further version with solutions to clamp dice value / add a bit more of control

Great atmosphere, art and audio! Would be cool to see this extended further after the jam. Giving the player a bit more control over the dice rolls would be super cool and add some tactical play! :)

You're not wrong about it being very sure, but for what you have it's really excellent. The ambience is already incredible, and the mechanics are very intuitive and fun to play with. If you expand on the gameplay and story after the game jam, this will be an all around really amazing game.

The music really immerge you into the story, almost died.. ^^

I like how its like those old school text based games, but you have clear actions like DnD.

Hope that you make this into a full game, would love to play it for longer!

Amazing presentation, I wish I could've played more, it was very intuitive. Also, the ambiance was insane!

Looks and sounds fantastic. I would definitely play a longer/fuller version of this.

This is so very cool.  I've never played anything like this before.  Incredible submission.

Also... my feet licked the floor.

Developer(+1)

My feet do that too. I hate it when that happens.

Developer(+1)

I thought"Your feet are now licking the floor" was a fitting expression considering the situation. Apparently it was more funny than anything!

Rolled a 7 on a 6 Sided die, then licked the floor with my feet.

Developer

It's not horror for nothing.

I really like the action system used, but I think it would be cool if you could see the amount of dice faces and the required rolls, as I was often left guessing on the hit chances, though.

Developer

The game was like this at first, but it was too easy because you'd just go for the option with the highest probability of working. Instead we just set on making the player do some thinking based on the situation and think about which one has the highest chance.

Really good atmosphere

It's a good short text-based rpg with some nice music and 1-bit visuals. I loved it! Ik the time constraints, so I can't wait to see more monsters in the future.!

Submitted(+1)

Hey french boy! Must always congratulate all 1-bit users, so congrats. Great art and fine music.

Regarding the gameplay, there isn't a lot of it, so the two things which annoyed me a bit was that I could get numbers above a 6 in what seemed to be regular dice, which was slightly confusing. The other thing which bothered me was that it seems like I can't really increase the text speed and it's quite slow by default.

I'm pretty sure the over 6 thing was from where it said agility/strength +++. I think that's meant to mean it adds three to your next roll for those.

Developer

Nah it's my bad I just couldn't be bothered to make a 9 sided dice haha. But you just gave me an idea!
