Thank you!

thanks :)
I will probably have to add an in-game tutorial!

Thank you for playing!! Yes, I thought the timer would actually make things annoying so I decided to skip it.

My god, papers please is one of my fav games of all time! That game's art is super good and comparing this one to that makes me happy even though my art is nothing to boast about lol :D

Thanks for playing!

True, this would work well as a WarioWare mini-game! Initially, I had no plans with the speed, but I didn't get too much time checking everything (let's be real, it's hard for me to play this game too :D). Ill figure out something abt speed.

Thanks for playing :)

Thanks. Someone else pointed that out and I believe I need to low it down, its already at the lowest ideal speed for the game engine but it will be choppy if I go lower than this, but I will figure out something.
Thanks for playing :)

Whoa! I did not think that way! Thank you. I will try to make that clear!!

It's okay! Daruma dolls are supposed to be gifted  :D

So because in pico-8 movement is by pixels, it looked choppy when I tried reducing the speed to less than 1 pixel per frame. Maybe I will figure out something. Thank you for playing!

Thank you! Yes, pico-8 is tough but very rewarding. The freedom and control you get are really good. I gave up on Unity after the controversy and picked Godot, but because I loved Lua with pico-8, I'm thinking of going with Love 2d as it uses Lua.

You should give PICO-8 a shot! There's an education version which is free I think.

Thank you so much for playing it! I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you!

Thank you

My my! A visual novel-ish-themed game?? The mechanics also reminded me of lapse, real fun and the visuals are gorgeous! Amazing work!

Thank you! You should check out Pico-8 games then!

Thank you! I can't say I'm new to PICO-8 but I'm still learning it. It was kindof hard to add an in-game tutorial as my code was already a mess :)

Maybe I will put that in a future update!

Haha! Time for a sequel then: maneki-neko. Same game with cats.

Thanks for playing!!

Thnk you

In the current setup, the game uses WASD for movement and the arrow keys for shooting bullets.

For me, it's a bit difficult to manage both at the same time. I think it would be simpler if the game used the arrow keys for movement. Then, when the other key (let's say 'X' for now) is held down, pressing the arrow keys would launch bullets in the direction of the arrow pressed. This would make the controls easier and more intuitive for me.

Was I able to explain it well now?

The art is good, and I loved the idea!

I did not understand but it was really beautiful!

The controls felt a bit confusing. I don't know what the norm is but I would have loved to hold one key and then use the same movement keys to attack!

Now that's out of the way, I'm a sucker for retro games, especially 1 bit, and you've done a really good job with every single aspect of the game! Amazing!!

Fun Play! I think a lot of potential for the mobile market!

That sounds exciting!

Ah, I know I will be biased because its almost 1-bit, pixel art and retro feel, but I loved the game soooo much!!

It's pretty neat. It's funny how both our games kindof have the same idea, but different executions. Good work.

It is good!! Also, the cute sleeping animation of the raccoon was so cute!! Reminded me of Sonic when he taps his feet when we stop playing.

Thank you for playing! I made the game and I got fired so many times that I don't have the count :D

Right now whenever the rule changes, it shows a flash and a piece of music plays, but maybe I will try making it more obvious. Thanks for playing and the suggestion!

Oh! Makes sense!

It is very pleasing to play this game. The art, the sound, the characters are so cute! Controls were a bit harder for me, but reminded me of celeste!

It's beautiful! The whole art and the music are so cute and relaxing! I wish I could listen to the music all the time!

No problem!! You guys got the vibe right, the art's good!

Oo! That was fun! Also, only the left shift speeds you up, not the right one, I thought you should know!

It was a cool concept, also was there no audio or was it some issue from my side?

The art is really good. The music and everything compliment each other! Great work!

AHH, I'm so bad at this, but a fun idea! Would be cute with some animations and music!

My god, the pup's so cute!! I really loved the whole aesthetic!

AHH! I really wanted to play this one, but my potato laptop can't get it running :(

I will check it out on my PC after a while!

Thanks :)
