How does the game fit the theme?
Florordination is a platformer where failure is not an option.
The game mostly fits the theme through its dialogue and story. The idea was to explore themes of preordination, of having a perfect path traced for you, and what might happen if things do go wrong after all.

You are tasked with a holy duty and it must be executed to perfection, nothing *must* go wrong.

But you get plenty of practice in a safe environment before your real attempt. Prepare well enough and jumping and dashing will become second nature to you, and nothing *can* go wrong.

Should something happen nonetheless, there might still be another way...

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used the Godot Engine as a game engine and the Dialogic Godot plugin to handle dialog. Both projects are redistributable under the MIT License, there is a credits screen in the game where I link to the projects.

I used a CC0 paletization shader and modified a CC0 image for some UI elements. The player sprite is loosely modeled after an asset I purchased. The font is Chevy Ray's Virtue Narrow.

The rest of the content is entirely my own. I reused some typing sfx I had recorded for another project previously.

Disappointed there was no hyper dashing :(

Anyway, I liked the atmosphere, but pacing is somewhat slow to me.

Loooved the visuals. Very Celeste like. The music as well. All around very atmospheric. I had a little difficulty with the dashing and jumping though, was kind of hard to master. Good job!
