Thanks for the elaborated review, that helps a lot! Did you know you can click on stars of boss before battle to alter their power? That is the second mechanic in game (apart from inventory managment) and IMHO it represents theme Balance effectively cause you have to balance the boss's power with yours before entering the fight. I just got the idea that you missed that, because we haven't managed to add tutorial.

Yooo... I am sure this is not the only OP item I missed there. Many staff to keep in mind. Congrats on your win, Knight!

Cheer up! (thanks for playing our game!)

Tremendous amount of work for 3 days. This really is an interactive fiction for sure

I am fully responsible for the words I say next: this is the best game of this jam for me. There is a bit of lore, visible final goal, entertaining gameplay. I loved the logo as well. For me, you did great

This is pure gold! I struggle with controls, not so many keys enter the input to move my character, so feels clunky. But the setting, art and dialoges are fascinating. Love it

The game could be much wider in deed, yet we focused on polishing (and good sleep ^-^). We probably expand it after jam

Thank you for a detailed review! We had in mind various concepts of how to expand the game, make new blocks, add bonuses etc. However, we considered focusing on polishing the very little what we had.
I still incubate ideas of additional content, the basis of the game encourages your imagination, provokes to think widely. But for a week gamejam it can be just fine.
I personally am fond of idea of Builtown being more of a deckbuilding roguelike with strict values and multiple ways to enforce your city. We'll see if that happens in the future

The visuals are as pure as my brain trying to figure out poisonous potion recipe! This one looks gorgeous. And yes. Cats always land on their paws.

poem adds 100% to vibes of witchcraft, this decision was ideal.

I wonder what will kill me next... Honestly, I did not accomplished death in any way. My bars went down but nothing happend. Yet the concept of keeping everything opperational suits the theme nicely

Where is a big explosion? I need one to see, am I a not enough alchemist yet?! Great clicker.

"tap a frog to toggle music" - I always wanted to do this.
Chilling game that made me curious what else is in the pond. Frog king just rocks

What a pleasureful game to have! The theme is at its peak here and levels are progressively harder. Controls are intuitive, this is perfect. And phisics always make a game fun as hell. My only thought is about pixels. I know how hard it is to work in Unity with pixel grid, yet it adds consistency to the visual. Seeing sprite of the flybot hand rotating diagonaly made me upset. So did some minor edges in the levels. And I whould love to see some background here.
Still, gameplay is a gem.

You have wonderful cell art for Itch, but no in the game! Don't hesitate to draw pics, you are good at that

Looks like I am staying single. Too challengy for me. Nice one

You should have used yellow for the walls, so we would be in a tomb. Overall, it is a nice dungeon run. I was curious to reveal the next trap the creator prepared for you

So glad you like it! I have little experience in isometric, this is encouraging for me

We started from classic 2D and in the middle I just rotated sprite at 45 degree and could not allow myself undo that. Isometric truly adds beuty here

Thank u!

Yeah, absolutely! We surely had in mind Balatro when we planned it. Yet we lack variety.

Thanks! We had some ideas about making a card that gets bonus for horizontaly same blocks. There are plenty of concepts here, we just prefered to focus on the basis to expand the game later. Glad you enjoyed it!

Its a city builder roguelike!

Genious interpretation and very cool design of a spell casted

Best pixelart animations ever! Very well

Sweet and smart texts, they make the game

This is an awesome concept! I loved the feeling of throwing a rocket one ship to another as a dodgeball player. I believe, the idea is expandable, keep it up
