The force is strong with me ! Never knew that I would feel satisfaction just by fighting against the physics of Godot, and wining. Thank you for the game :)

For you first game this is obviously pretty good! But the objective is a bit simple and if you dont instantly press a button after starting you die. With a bit more work this could be a really cool game! Good job!

I would call this a frustration management learning game. I missed some "boo" screams in the background when the die falls off the table, and some ridiculous music in the background, but otherwise well done!

Also: I HAVE THE FORCE!!!

I HAVE THE FORCE! I love this game! Good job with it!

Alright, the force is strong with me. The game is very simple but it has its charm.

Neat little playground! It's quite tricky and took me a moment to work out the controls.

Fun game! Enjoyed all my attempts trying to get that slippery die into the ashtray. Wish I could get the die in my game moving like that lol

This game made me laugh, angry, frustrated and finally a feeling of inner peace. A really nice entry for a game jam.

I love how intentionally wild the physics are, it added to the chaos. And how the tone of the game is set with the die initially rolling off the table. Some personal things I would like to see changed would be regarding user experience. I don't think you needed the "menu screens". All that text bombards you at the start and it can be a little overwhelming. In parallel to this, when the player wins, I don't like that the game took me to a separate screen. Let me gaze upon my success, I've worked hard to get it into the ash tray.

Anyway I'm knit picking, I had a surprising amount of fun with this. And well done for completing your first 3d game and submitting to the Jam.

Great suggestions!

getting that die into the ashtray is now on my bucket list, what a fun/difficult challenge

my only feedback would be to have a way to press try again with the keyboard, like pressing enter or space, to avoid having to use the mouse only for that

Interesting concept, but the dice moves a little bit to fast making it quite floaty and hard to control.  Also with the lose screen I noticed that when the game is full screen the UI shifts to the top left of the screen. Good game but needs some work.

Recommendations for the future:

  • Slow down the dice movement speed
  • On the first level don't have the dice start rolling off the book till the player makes at least one input
  • Have your UI scale with the players screen size
Developer

Thanks for feedback!

Speed is intentional. Have you ever measured the speed of a dice controlled by a wizard? Use less force get less speed! :)

Dice rolling off is intentional - it is the Unlucky dice after all...

None of the menus are done, prioritised the sound effects, then time ended...

- all this is my FIRST 3D game (and first working Godot game)

This took me an embarrassingly long time to complete lol.

The graphics are great!  It was really cool to see how a simple mechanic could be a game!  I was so determined to get the dice into the tray!

Great job :)

Welcome to the club!

I do not think that many have finished this game...

Regarding graphics: Know right away that I had to use ready models. It took some time to find exactly what I searched for. Great looking but low triangle models. Managed to find great models (listed at first page) - that is my only claim to fame in graphics.

Lovely little game, took some effort to get the dice in control but after that it was a blast <3

oh my god this game completely shutdown my computer twice on opening the game

Developer

Nope, your computer completely shutdown when playing this web game.
It really shouldn't do that! There is something wrong with your computer.

Great little game! Fun in a Getting Over It sort of way. Honestly, with a few more levels and a little variation on the mechanic, you would have a full game that I would play.

As an aside, the little click sound for the edge of the ashtray is a really nice touch.

Nice job!
