I like the art but for some reason everything runs at the pace of a snail.

The art is absolutely beautiful. The concept is great too. Might be a bit better if animations were a little bit faster

Nice job! I like the graphics and also the concept is creative.

Love the pixel art and animation. Super well done.  I wish the game movement was faster and that there was a better indicator that you can move. It's awkward that you can move while the knight does but not the other pieces. Would love to see this further developed with music and other stuff. Great job.

Nice idea. I would've liked a more thorough explanation of the mechanics, but I could sus them out somewhat. Good work.

Developer

Thanks ^_^

Did you read the description?

I did

Developer(+1)

Ok I am curious: What should we explain better to futer players? Thx btw

Great take on the theme! I really like the graphics, especially that rolling animation.

I would have loved it to be a little faster and some cheery music to go with the graphics.

Developer

Thanks :D I am glad you liked it.

You're right we should have made it faster.  We had someone on our team for composing but he got sick unfortunatly.

Nice looking game but why is the player moving soooo slow? also sometimes the controls just didn't work for some reason.

Developer(+1)

Did you read the description before playing?

Thanks for your feedback :D

Ohhhh, I'm so sorry, now I understand. A visual indication indication would have been nice when you couldn't move. Sorry if the previous comment came in a bit rash.

the game was kind of fun, but it could do with an eating mechanic or something

Looks amazing. Gameplay is a bit slow

Developer

What do you think could we have done to make the gameplay feel faster?

Thanks for feedback ^_^

I think having all the pieces move a bit faster would help. Maybe have all the enemy pieces move at the same time? Also having some sort of highlight on the board showing where the enemy is moving would be a nice a thing to have

First off, I think the art is delightful!  Great work on presentation.  It feels like a nice arcade-style puzzle game.

The gameplay, while interesting, is hard to follow.  I understand that I am playing as a dice, but allowing the enemies to move a random number of spaces doesn't feel very fair.  It becomes more of a game of chance rather than a puzzle game.  Perhaps there was a pattern to it, but I didn't catch it.

All-in-all, great work! I can tell a lot of solid effort went into this!

Developer

Thanks for your command :)

Happy to here that you liked the graphics. Did you read the description before you played our game?

Submitted(+1)

Yup! Every time the player finishes moving, the dice is rolled to determine the number of spaces that the enemies are allowed to move.  But I missed the part where it says that you are allowed to move if the horse gets too close.  Sorry for the misunderstanding!

It's a good game!

Thanks :D
