The game is neat, I experianced basically the same bugs as everyone else mentioned in the comments but was still able to enjoy it. I like the cute little mouse! -Kaylee
Thanks glad you liked it :)
Cute lil game, the dice mechanic reminds me of Luckitown
I experienced a bug where the dice randomly get stuck inside each other/in a 45 degree rotation, which makes them unusable (though that has been expressed alot)
I enjoyed it for a while, the walking animations are very cute, but it could really use some variety if you are planning on updating it post jam. Cool concept!
Thanks yeah i was kinda inspired by it :) Yeah im aware of that bug, its fixed in the post jam version, which im updating slowly with new stuff
Experienced some bugs where the game just became unplayable on me:
-Selecting two dice back to back without using any softlocked me, as the enemies also wouldn't move
-Sometimes the dice would get stuck, either not rolling at all, or getting stuck on a side and therefore giving me no option
Other than that, pretty cool game for what I got to play, really liked the graphics and the music.
Thanks for the feedback on the bugs, havent heard about the selection one, will look into it.
Missing a lot of the UI when I load it on my machine, could be an issue on my end though! Looks fun from the screenshots, and I love the procedural animation on the little mouse feet. Sorry that I can't rate it!
Ah thats strange. if you still wanna play it the post jam version is up which hopefully should be fixed. Thanks! i thought it would work better than fixed animations :)
i have unfortunately encountered some game breaking bugs. but i like the idea and am curious if you had any more actions for dice planned?
Oh dear! what happened? if you wanna check out the post jam one that has a couple bugs fixed :) yeah i had "lunge" which is a move+attack and lets you hit things 2 spaces away, "reposte" which is block+attack and auto attacks the first thing that hits you. Gonna work on it more o add all my other ideas. Ultimately i wanna add things like ranged dice, one time use and healing dice
sometimes the dice just froze in mid air, sometimes clicking a dice would not present me with the options to do the thing :/
The core gameplay was good, but it lacked a lot of polish. There were a few bugs that made the game very difficult to play, that’s too bad !
Thanks, yeah didnt have a lot of free time to polish it up, ive got a post jam version which should fix some of the issues people have found. What did you have a problem with?
The main problem is the validation of the dice, I couldn’t use them if they didn’t land flat or if they clipped with each other. This made the game very hard, and even unplayable when the dice spawned inside each other several times in a row.
The rest are minor issues (spiders slowly flying off when you lose), but more feedback in general could be nice (getting hit, hitting an enemy, blocking…)
Okay yeah i fixed that in the post jam version. Never seen them spawn inside each other tho! Also havent seen flying spiders :'D
The game was cute and easy to play!
But I had some bugs, sometimes the dices were blocked, I couldn't use them, and sometimes the enemies didn't move, I don't know if it's normal?
In the end, it is a cute little game, but more like a battle prototype, there seems to be no end.
Im glad you found it easy to pick up! Yeah im about to push a fix to for that i the post jam version and the enemies not moving is known about :)
there is actually an end, i think i just made it too hard
Cool game in limited time,
I have rated, can you please rate and revi
ew my game also.
A promising concept, kinda reminds me of Armello, but with dice gameplay throughout the whole game, not just battles. With more actions added for the dice, this could be good for both singleplayer campaigns and multiplayer match-ups.
Really liked combat idea, really enjoyable! But requires some fixing
So I actually really love the core gameplay idea! It's a great blend of randomization with player choice. I also think the mouse and the spiders are very cute. However, I tried playing it on both Windows and the post-jam WebGL version, and the dice kept freezing on the majority of my turns, so I ended up unable to really play more than one or two turns in a row. If you can clear out those bugs, I think this could be a lot of fun!
game's idea is very interesting, I couldnt play very well because the dice kept bugging and I had to restart the game, but it was fun while it lasted
Thanks for playing :) Glad it was fun what you played, yeah the dice are a bit bugged but if you end turn they just reroll so shouldnt bug again
