This game is a lot of fun, feels very polished. Cool animation & effects too. Cant wait to see what things you add after the jam. More power-ups, crazy enemies & crazy effects will be wild IMO, anyway great job!

Wow. Really liked how every die type is so characterized!

You could introduced d100 with some bullet-hellish attack and d12 that splits itself in 2d6 when killed, just few things tath comes to my mind :)

Amazing dark atmosphere with cool lighting effects!

Developer

Thank you so much for the suggestions! Glad you like it :)

A really great shooter here. I loved how the different rolls gave different attack patterns. I found it easiest to keep on top of the dice by trying to spawn kill them. Great music and art too.

Great job all round :)

Developer(+1)

thank you so much!!

It looks awesome and sounds great, but I can't understand how exactly shooting affects enemies. Sometimes they die fast, and sometimes they just don't die.

Developer

Thanks! Enemies have health, the D6 have 3 health, you need to shoot them 3 times, the D4 have 8, etc

Very solid top down shooter that had a great thematic vibe, I especially enjoyed the neon colours and sound effects, felt retro but very polished. It was a great experience, I seem to suck at the game since the player moves maybe a bit to faster for my liking. I could imagine playing this down at an arcade with a joystick.

Developer

Thank you, thank you! The retro / arcade vibe is kind of what I was going for while making the art so I'm glad it feels that way :D

Very clean, the color code for projectiles and light effects work very well together! I simply wished to have an extra small feedback when hitting enemies to have even more juice ;)

Developer

Thank you! We'll keep that in mind :D

The game is very visually pleasing. I had no idea what I was doing, but I had fun shootin' n' tootin.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it!

Now that's a juicy game! Love all the character you gave to the enemies with all their little animations. The only thing missing is some d12 representation.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! :D Yep, d12 is on the features list for further development xD

Graphics and sound effects are spot on! - it looks really polished. Gameplay is also great, but I kinda wish there was more variety in enemies, altough I understand that there probably wasn't enough time.

Developer

Thank you!
More variety as in more of the dice? We were planning on implementing the D10, D12, and D100 but ran out of time. But we already have a D4, D6, D8, and D20. If you have any ideas for how the D10, 12, or 100 should behave, let us know! We'd love to hear your thoughts!

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, the time is the worst enemy. I guess you could add enemies with different kinds of projectiles - for example with homing projectiles or with laser / railgun attacks. But I suppose those mechanics would also need the player to be able to dash.

Well done on the presentation, I actually tried to do the same lighting in another project for a 2D game an it just didn't run in WebGL. Looks really nice and fun to play!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Weird that it didn't work in webgl for you in the past...
