Thanks a lot for the feedback!
yeah, I think I came across that tactic, its very effective :D
Well, you're right! I really wanted to add an indicator for that, but it needed to be simple to fit in the game's UI, and it was last day and i was too tired to think about it xD, so i guess i just ditched the idea.
Thanks a lot on the detailed feedback and the compliments! I'm glad you liked the game juice :Dalso glad you were annoyed by the boss xd
The graphics are a combination of a pixelation shader, post processing, general camera shaking and a lot of hit feedback including particle systems and scale/color lerping. And i think sounds also might've contributed to the retro vibe.
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback, I truly appreciate it, and it's extremely important to me!
Your points are very valid and I agree with you, the board movement or shaking disabling was actually implemented in the settings menu but apparently it broke xD. Thanks I guess for the heads-up, I'll have to fix it in the future.
Also, I would say the reason I didn't go with the endless approach is because I wanted the game to be a bit contained and have an objective, but its definitely a great idea to try and add after the jam!
And Also Thank you for the compliments! I'm very glad I learnt something new about Germany today :D!
