Love the art style and the vibe :) I am not into these kind of games but reading the comments it seems you did well for people who like them so, congrats :)

The concept is strange but quite neat and well executed! My only issue is that some of the text can be quite difficult to read, and it took me a few minutes to find out you can click on an item to see the ID in bigger text.
Very well done simulation, the inputs felt like they made sense and the terminal was well integrated. As some others have said I o wish there was more of a challenge but that is far from being a massive issue, empire building games like this are always a nice find and I could see a full scale iteration of this working really well!
Thanks a lot for the nice comment, I'm glad you liked it!
Awesome feedback as well, it definitely needs some challenge included, I'll try to think of something when the jam ends to to add some good reason for the player to progress, maybe like a timer for actions or some avoidable dangers that the plane can go through or something. Good thing I put a lot of effort into the game base systems, like the interpreter, so it would be easy to scale up later.
Thanks again for the comment, always appreciate a good feedback!
I'm obsessed with terminal simulations, inventory management and games where I can pretend I'm working so this was precision engineered to please me. Superb entry.
The atmosphere is flawless, perfect music for your subject matter. The palette and keyboard noise really helps the immersion, when totally focused and trying to go as fast as possible this becomes as mind numbing as a real office job. I haven't found something so droning since Paper Please, I love it.
My biggest complaint would be how little the game incentivize doing well. This is expected for a Jam game, but after trying to load planes as efficiently as possible so that they can depart before the best bid even finish appearing on the screen it was a bit sad to not have a timer or some extra rewards for going the extra mile.
Was able to buy every upgrades by day two, still stayed for some extra, amazing entry but I'm more than a little bit biased. This is clearly not the shiniest interpretation of the theme but what's around it may be my favorite from this jam. Nice job
Oh wow, that's a lot of compliments my friend, thank you so much!
That was a great idea! I actually implemented a timer at first, but then I removed it because I felt like it would be discouraging for new people or people who don't type as fast. I didn't really have time to design other ways, so I just settled on making a chill/depressed infinite game with just typing. I'm definitely going to add some content after the jam ends to at least make it a stable game.
And it's very true that the theme interpretation is really bad here. I tried so hard to come up with an idea that fits the theme, but all I could find was "You have inventory; empty the inventory.", Oh well. I guess I'm happy I at least finished it in time.
But anyways, thanks again for the nice words. I appreciate you, and I'm overjoyed with your comment!
This games atmosphere was beautiful, the tiny details like the click sounds and the background music really made it pop. all the mechanics were thoughtfully designed. even tho im really not the target audience for these types of games, I could see players getting sucked deep into this. really great work.
This is a pretty good game! I honestly didn't think I'd vibe with it before playing since I usually don't play games like this but I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. The awesome presentation drew me in and the gameplay was engaging. And as a bonus, I got some typing practice
Such a cool game. I have a soft spot for terminal simulators and this one runs seamlessly. Love how you have a few options to upgrade.
Amazing!! I love the graphic style so much! Also the game terminal reminds me a lot to the Linux terminal. Very good work
I love this game! This game is very relaxing. The gameplay UI and sounds (especially typing sounds) are so nice.
The only thing for me is the name text in the inventory and the plane names are a little hard to read for me. I sometimes see 8 as 0. But I got used to it after some time.
Overall, I really enjoy this! 😸
This is the game that currently has the highest rate from me so far!
Thank you so much for the amazing compliments! <3
I also noticed that the text became less visible after I added post processing, but then I went ahead and called it a feature so the player has a reason to click folders xD
Once again, thank you. I'm very glad you enjoyed it, and I'm flattered that you gave it a high rating!
I love this game! Fantastic stuff, only nitpick is that the commands appear to be case-sensitive and that sometimes doesn't line up with the UI. Overall great I love the atmosphere
Thanks for the compliments !
Could you let me know which commands had problems, because I made sure the terminal input shouldn't be case sensitive, if that's the case I'd be happy to fix it.
Edit: OMG, thank you! you're right xD inventory queries only take lower case characters, I forgot the apply the same thing on them. thanks for the heads up!
I legitimately got sucked into this game for over 45 minutes!
This may be my programming background, but it was so satisfying running the commands, hearing the clicks of the mouse/keyboard, and seeing planes fly around. The upgrades were fun and I definitely enjoyed renaming my airplane to A haha! I also appreciate you actually putting in a save system, not many do that for a jam.
The art and display were really clean and well done and worked well with the overall theme.
My only gameplay critique is that I wish a bit more complexity was introduced after a few cycles, but I totally understand the limitations of a jam.
I didn’t see the jam’s limitation in at all.
Overall, I absolutely loved the gameplay. So satisfying, I hope you continue on with this, awesome job!
Oh Wow, 45 minutes!
You have no idea how good that made me feel, I didn't expect that at all! Thank you sooo much, I'm very glad you enjoyed it that much.
I definitely had a lot of ideas in mind but I unfortunately got a little busy over the week with work and such, so I kept it in scope especially after spending a bunch of time with fixing bugs.
also Working on an interpreter was very enjoyable for me so for sure I'm going to either keep working on this game in after the jam or make a new console game.
Thanks again for the amazing words you're very kind and I wish you well ❤
