I didn't get why I couldn't stand on the second die at level 3. But the idea just to roll dice, welp, you made it, good job (i guess). I liked only colors

One of the most common mechanic on this jam, but this one has superb and clean art.
The music also matches the aesthetic perfectly, congrats on finishing the jam !

Very cool puzzle game. I've seen a couple of these type of games in this jam. Yours looks really good. I liked the cracked tile mechanic.

I couldn't finish level 3, for some reason the first die refused to get on the numbered tile, whichever position I came from :(

I liked the atmosphere of the game, really serene and relaxing.

Hello Gatlink, You can check the description for a walkthrough video. Anyway here is the link:

Level 3 is already hard ^^'.  The idea behind it is that the dice on the left is easier to place on the right tile, and the dice on the right, after jiggling a bit with it's position, should stamp the tile on the left side of the screen.  Levels 4,5 & 6 are even worse.

I love seeing very similar games to the one my team made. It always brings to mind the differences in styles, aesthetics and mechanics.

Loved the aesthetic! It is very relaxing and pleasing to play. I do wish, however, that the controls rotated with the camera view. Without that it was sort of confusing. Still, this is very good. Nice job!

Enjoyment: Wow this one was really nice. The puzzles in this are a lot more fun than others with the same idea and I think thats from the mechanics of you not being able to move back is a lot easier to understand than the dice rolling but having both together is nice, and being able to rotate your camera (while being pretty confusing) helps so much with understanding whats going on. I also found a bug on level 5 where a 3 didnt go away after stepping on it.

Creativity: Not that creative cause I've seen a quite a few games with the same idea.

Presentation: Everything looks and sounds great! I especially like the tiles dropping down animation and the music is amazing

Hello PepperBoi! Thank you so much for your review! It was a delight to read! I thought initially that not a lot of people will go the way of this kind of puzzle, but it seems I was sooo wrong :-). I completely agree with you about the controls when the camera turns. I wanted to implement that, but I ran out of time.

But please tell me more about the bug on level 5. I am not 100% sure I understand, do you mean the tile with the 3 dots, did not activate (turn red), or it didn't fall like the others (this tile is not supposed to fall, as it doesn't have a crack drawn on it) ?

Submitted

The 3 was like this, but I was still able to finish the level.

Developer

Ah yes it is normal. There are two types of tiles you can activate: standard ones that just light up red, and falling ones, that have a crack on them and fall once you step on them.  This tile is  a standard one ( the same like in level 1 and level 4),

Loved it! Played another game with similar mechanics, but the puzzles were better in this one 😁 Wish there were more levels, and a way to track the number of moves, so we can set high scores!

Beautiful take on the rolling dice puzzle! I like the music a lot, and the dice movement is smooth! I got stuck at stage 5 though, the idea of falling ground is neat but quite unforgiving.

Developer

Hello thank you for playing my game!  The "unforgiveness" of those falling tiles is intentional and part of the puzzle, because if you get them wrong, it's game over. Because of the short duration of the jam, for the last 2 levels I wanted to unravel the full potential of the puzzles, hence the sudden increase in difficulty. There is a video walkthrough in the description, in case you get curious about the solution. Thanks for the review and take care!

Quite similar to the idea we had, check it out if interested! I loved your presentation a lot though, and puzzle elements are very different, loved it!

Unfortunatly the game doesn’t work on macOS Safari :/

Developer(+1)

I am macOS user as well, but I never use Safari. Did you try other navigators? Chrome/Brave/Firefox? I think there is a history with issues between Unity + WebGL and Safari.

It works on brave thanks :)

The game is cool, I like arts and music :) and fits the theme. Maybe some feedback (sfx) would be nice. Well done :)

Pretty fun game to play. The main menu and intro is simply amazing. Its simple but made with such good taste. Good job

Loved the art style of this game. the gameplay is simple and the concept really fits the theme. Great work overall

Very nice and neat game, I enjoyed playing! Love the simple mechanics and despite the controls needing a little work, I was able to navigate pretty effectively. I would suggest sound effects and perhaps some visuals to indicate when tiles are matched and when they fall. This is particularly helpful in levels with multiple dice as I felt as if there was a lot going on at once. Other than this, I would say flawless execution!

Developer(+1)

Hello Shahman, Thank you so much for your review and for the suggestions! I agree the controls need some improvement, especially when rotating the camera. This was on my todo list, but unfortunately I ran out of time to implement it. Regarding the visual queues for when the tiles are matched or they fall, what do you suggest? They turn red and there are particle effects to show that matching was done. The falling tiles have a crack on them, but maybe it's not visible enough? Thanks, in advance!

Submitted(+1)

Hey yeah I totally understand the time pressure, had a lot of stuff that fell off for my game also haha. So, I was thinking more of a detached visual indicator since in levels with multiple dice, I might be focusing on moving one die and not really paying attention to the other. Perhaps something more striking so it grabs my attention. The particles are nice, maybe more emphasis on that? For the cracked tiles, I am thinking more of the feedback as they fall, was there a sound effect for that?

Developer(+1)

Oh okay I understand better now! Fair points!

Beautiful take on this common theme. So tranquil. I also really appreciate the ability to rotate the camera in order to easily visualize the other faces. The mechanics you introduce are also interesting and engaging.

Very cool how you designed the levels. It felt natural and did not get boring.

Lots of that kind of puzzle games in this jam. but this one is really well polished.

The visuals & the whole ambiance are really neat & the animation on matching the cases are really juicy.

good work :)

Pretty solid art and visuals! The idea is a bit common, however the game feels good to play as a whole!

P/S: I couldn't give live commentary due to not being able to stream, sorry

Developer

Thanks Yuuni! Would have loved to see your live reaction, but still thanks for what you are doing!

yea, it's a shame that my laptop is in maintenance, and my current PC I'm using can't really stream + I just got my wisdom tooth out and my mouth hurts when I try opening it, which makes talking difficult

Developer

Aye aye aye... this is the thing with problems, they never come alone! I wish you and your laptop a speedy recovery and cat ch you then on twitch!
