Wow awesome game! I played it with my cousin, we split the tasks, and make our best time at 48s.

We really enjoy playing it, and for sure we will keep playing it. I love the pixel art style and the music. Maybe a high score will be nice.

Pd: We often lose in the sausage seasoning , we don't get it right :[

Good work!

Developer(+2)

Haha that's a smart way to play the game. We didn't intend for it to be multiplayer but a few people have said that it works well as one, so we may have to think about that in the future! We're planning on uploading a slightly improved version after the gamejam has ended, with little quality of life improvements, so keep an eye out for that if you want. It's really nice to hear that you want to keep playing our little game. Thanks so much!

Nice game!

Reminds me of the old multitask flash games :)

It looks great and it's fun, the only thing that I had problems with at first was to read the text. I think the keys should be a bit different from the text so that you can read it easier.

I think my record was 42, I was done when a game changed to a different one... That was too much for me x)

Developer(+2)

Thanks so much, it's great to see people playing our game and being able to get such high scores! The feedback is really helpful as well and we've already got a build that has little fixes such as the text being difficult to read. Once the jam is over it'll be uploaded. Thank again!

You're welcome!

Feel free to message me when you updated the game so I can try it again :)

Very clever concept, loved each bit of it. The art is also on point. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the compliments. We love that you loved our game :)

Fab way of incorporating chaos in a way that doesn't detract from the player experience, and with some balancing etc after the jam it could be a real gem I think

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you like it.

(+2)

Love this concept! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Much appreciated.

Submitted(+2)

Really nice game, I had a lot of fun playing it!

It was a bit too unforgiving, maybe you can give the player more lifes before it's game over.

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Yes we thought about that but didn't have time in the end.

Submitted(+2)

Really liked the concept ^^ made me think about another jam game but I don't remember the name :O Nice game !

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Really liked the whole concept of multitasking, even makes sense it being on a restaurant, only problem i could think of is that sometimes the combination of multitasks gets waaaay to hard, so i feel like the game might become almost unplayable for being so hard, but it could be that i just suck at multi tasking.

Overall, really cool game, and the theme was used very well!

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Yes the restaurant is a fitting theme. It is indeed pretty hard at the moment and if we had had more time then difficulty balancing would've been our first priority.

Submitted(+2)

Woaaaah what a cool game! Got it all pumped up and alert. I like the frenzy nature of it. well done!

Spoiler: I gave you a high rating.

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much, we really tried to go for that crazy nature and we're glad that it comes across well. Thank you for the rating, it's great to hear people liked our game. Great job on your game by the way, it was really fun to play!

Very fun game play. This reminds me of "Cook Serve Delicious". I couldn't seem to work out what to do with "season correctly"(S and P). I applied both salt and pepper, but still failed me sometimes.  The A&D mini-game and the table serving are alot more attention demanding than the other ones. One extra note Is that I would like to know how I died on the game over screen so that I can watch out for that in the future. Overall very nice game.

Developer(+2)

Thanks so much for the feedback! You're the first person to compare it to Cook, Serve, Delicious which we expected to happen a lot sooner haha. Someone mentioned that it would be nice for a full version to weight the games in terms of how much attention they need so you don't get screwed over by a bad combination too soon. We have the screen you lose on gain a red border on it, but it would be a good idea for a full game to include a much more obvious signal. Thanks again and well done on your game, it was really excellent!

I had a lot of fun playing this game! My best time so far has been 43. I loved having to use my peripheral vision to keep track of everything, really fits the out of control aspect!

I also really like the art style, good job!

The only things I have to complain about is:

Sometimes the font was hard to read, For some reason, when the carrot chop was on the top right, I couldn't tell that was U and J

It becomes really impossible sometimes, having to use the arrow keys, hold E, and press U and J. Fingers just aren't long enough to do that and it feels more unfair rather than a lack of skill.

But really good job!

Developer(+1)

Congrats on getting 43 seconds! That's a really good time. We're glad that you enjoyed playing and if we were to do this game again these are definitely some things we would take into consideration. A few people have commented on the control scheme. Someone recommended trying to keep all of the games controlable from 2 set hand positions, which we really like the idea of. Thanks for the feedback and great job on your game!

Submitted(+2)

Pretty tough but still pretty fun! It reminds me of something I've played before... just can't put my finger on it. I like the concept, it's pretty hilarious trying to juggle so many different things in your restaurant! Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliments. We appreciate that you enjoyed playing! If we were doing this again, the difficulty curve is definitely one of the things we would work on!

Submitted(+2)

Me and my family played as three people in the same keyboard to hack it, and very fun and fast :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, whilst we didn't intend for it to be multiplayer we have discovered that it works quite well.

Submitted(+2)

Great take on that type of game.
No idea how the genre is called to be honest.

I've seen some of theese games, but I have to say this one has probably the best visuals.
Was a lot of fun to watch the whole thing go out of control.

A few things I'd have liked to be a bit different though:

Loosing after juts one missed point is really punishing,
maybe a 3 live system, or subtracted points

Sometimes the buttons I need to hit are a bit off puting,
If I constatly need to have one hand on the left side and the second hand on the right,
Its a bit annoying if I additionally need to use the arrow keys,
I love to have to switch hand positions after each round,
But maybe have the panels spawn in a way to keep the keys to positions that I can reach with both hands without moving them. And then after a restart change the position.

And a way to pick the panels would have been awesome,
so I can play my favourites more often

All in all great game and a perfect fit for the Jam

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for your feedback. These are some really great suggestions and we're pleased that you enjoyed playing it. If we were to make this game under no time constraint we'd definitely try and put in some of these suggestions, since that would make this game a lot better. Great game by the way, good luck with your reviews!

Submitted(+2)

dude this game is very cool, i love this kind of game, my best time is 39! i love the concept and the presentation, good job! Please check out my game too :D

Developer(+1)

Sure thing, your game was really fun! Good job on 39 seconds, that's really great. Thanks for all of the compliments :)

Submitted(+2)

Best Rate Criteria: Originality

Best Time: 39

Couldn't go further, especially with the "Season properly" that made me lose every time (salty! didn't get the success condition of this one :/, I just seasonned like a no-no).

The multi-task fits very well the theme. It's a fun experience thanks to a completed design and execution. It's a bit hard, but polish and balancing is for another time: this game is obviously fine right now!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. 39 seconds is a great time, congrats! If we were to do this game again we would polish up the balancing. Everyone commenting has come up with some really good idea of how to balance the game properly. Great job on your game by the way, it was really fun to play and definitely one of the more memorable ones!

Submitted(+2)

This give me warioware vibes, really cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliment. You've got a fun game by the way, it was a really unique mechanics for this jam!

Submitted(+2)

Original concept indeed! This would be great for a multiplayer game where every player rotates once in a while; right now is crazy and hard, but very fun. Good work!

Developer(+2)

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, we can see it working well as a multiplayer game too. If we had more time we would have probably would have worked more on the difficulty curve, but we're glad that you liked it.

Submitted(+2)

I think my brain shutdown trying to do 4 at once.    The difficulty curve is crazy wild depending on what you get at once.   I would recommend some sort of odds based upon what's already up.   My first time to 3 was Fire Extinguisher, wok and the waiter and that key combo was just impossible, at least for me.  I loved it though and spent way more time on it than I originally planned which was great.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! Yeah certain combinations of the minigames can be a lot more challenging than others. If we were to keep on developing this game we would definitely try to adjust the games which appear, but this is really good feedback. Thanks so much. Your game was great by the way and I really enjoyed playing it. It was really relaxing and a stark contrast to the tone of our game :)

Submitted(+2)

This is so warioware;d The game defends itself:P Though at three actions i'm loosing it;P

Developer(+1)

Thank you. Yes, its pretty challenging at first!
