This is so cute! Reminds me of that goose game a lot which is definitely not a bad thing! One thing I personally had trouble with is the tank-style controls, which would work better in an over-the-shoulder view. Very sorry about the loss of your dog!
Thanks a lot for playing and writing a comment! You are not the only one who was not a fan of the tank-style controls. If I had to do it again, I would have liked to have the option to use the camera as thee movement forward reference point with the dog just moving straight forward, back, left, and right. I am personally a fan of tank controls in general, but an option for something else would be nice. Again thanks for playing and your feedback :)
This is a great idea, like Goose game but a dog in a house, I remember our dog eating everything when we left the home!

Thanks for your kind words. Besides some bug fixes, I don't think I will do anything more with the game after the jam. I have another game I am working on. The controls can be a little too funky sometimes. Again thanks for your kind words and for playing my game.
Good take on the theme, not necessarily 100% original because it does the same thing than the goose game, but with a dog. While the art is not yours, it is well integrated and used. My only grip is with the music who loop to quickly, so it become rapidly annoying (luckily we can close it). Try to take more tune and string it, or just a longer one, that definitely help. Didn't found any bug, so it is well coded, but I would made the control from the perspective of the camera instead of the dog, it really make the control feel clunky.
Other than that, I really liked the humor! And being a dog owner, I really appreciated your homage to your own dog. Good job on your 48 hours !
I am glad to hear that you like the humor :) I often find music in games annoying after some time which is why I always try to have a mute option. I don't want the controls to be perfect, but right now, they are a little too clunky sometimes. Thanks for playing and for your comment :)

I jumped all over the computer and games console and tv remote and they didn't do anything unless that's not the solution
This is a really sweet way to remember your dog, and I like that you were able to incorporate that into the jam theme this year. The controls are a bit tough to manage, but with some more tuning, this would be a really fun game to just sink some time into running around causing mayhem. Nice job!

Im sorry about your dog, but his presence is known to so many people now, RIP sonni. This game is really fun and I would play a lot more levels of this! There are some obvious issues in terms of the dog's head going through walls and stuff but this is the kind of game where that stuff almost adds to the charm and humour of it. The set dressing/level design is really nice and the game was an overall good time!

Fun! like an "untitled dog game". Though I know you said the asset's weren't made for the jam, the level was laid out nicely and I know the effort that takes. Good job, and good dog!

Love the idea of this! The dog was at times frustratingly out of control, but I guess that does fit the theme!
Thanks for playing. The controls can be a little too much sometimes. I would have liked them a little less slippery but was running out of time. I still want the dog to feel a little out of control, but sometimes it gets a bit too much.
