I really love the mechanic its super fun to control The game feels amazing and has a lot of impact!
Really cool mechanic
love the concept. I definitely spent more time on these levels than most of the games I've played this jam which says something :)
Just. Great.
Perfect juggling burglar game.
Takes time to get used to.
Unfortunately i still have 30 games to rate so i ll come back to beat it just a bit later.
Here, take the full-mark rating and wait a bit (no Mark puns intended).
Wow thats a neat little take on the theme. The gameplay was simple and easy to understand, and the art-style was simple but pleasing. Awesome job!
I really liked the take on the theme. The game looked amazing and the levels were thought out and fun. Controlling the character was a little hard. But it was still really fun. Great game!
Good concept, I really enjoyed it. The controls could really use some work though!
Liked the game and concept. One small issue though is that it can take a while to get used to the controls. I think that the game could potentially benefit from a slightly rethought control scheme. I liked the game's graphics and the audio just helped the game to come to life. Overall it's a good entry well done.
Great game, but the controls just killed it for me (don't like the toggle). Awesome game tho.
Nice twist on the mechanic, and I really like the heist theme. Tough to get the hang of the controls at first, but they're intuitive enough that you can pick up on it fairly quickly. Nice work!
Probably the best game I tried so far. In every aspect this deserves to be nominated.
As usual, I love your game, it has a really nice idea, implementation, art and music. Well done.
This game is too challenging for me but it is not unfair at all. It is definitely fun to play. Maybe the player do not have to die in one hit.
Really cool game, good job! The graphics were amazing for a 48 hour jam, and the movement and mechanics all felt nicely polished. I would recommend perhaps making a better distinction between the civilians and the guards. Also, I think it might be more interesting if you could make each mode (shooting and moving) completely separate, so when you're moving you can't shoot and when you're shooting you can't move at all? I don't know how the gameplay would differ but right now it doesn't seem very necessary to use the two different modes apart from switching the direction of your weapon, so perhaps that would make it a bit more unique/interesting.
Having said that, it was a great and original idea, well done!
Cool game, nice concept and really fun all around. Especially liked the polish that went into it, the sound design feels just right, movement is satisfactory, shooting is meaty. I just kinda got puzzled on why you can shoot on both modes, makes the actual "shooting" mode kinda useless? (at least on my strategy) Congrats on your project!
This is a super fun, good looking, and thought out game! The sound effects and music were perfect for the design as well! I love your use of the theme, and the gimmick was original. I had some difficulty telling the civilians apart from the guards, maybe make their colors more dramatic. The game's difficulty was spot on and I feel like this concept could be carried over to a player versus player game as well. Excellent game!
This is a really nice idea. I had some trouble figuring out how the controls work and why I'm not able to aim sometimes, but as soon as I figured it out I had fun playing your game.
It is pretty challenging, though. And I found that after repeated deaths (either mine or civilians) I started to use the move mode only to change my angle for the shoot mode and play the game way more carefully. And I think that's not great since this game is more fun in the move mode. So you might try to incentivise that more.
Regarding the presentation, sound is good, nothing bad to say here and I'd say the graphics are even better than just good. They are stylish and well made. I always like it when the edges of a level transfer into the background color.
All in all, fun game, nice idea, looks and sounds good. Perhaps a bit too high difficulty.
I used to think I was good at playing video games but this game challenged me quite a lot. I really like it! I appreciate that the main mechanic is "simple to learn, difficult to master." I really like games like that! The only room for improvement I can think of is a smaller hitbox for the player character, or something that makes it more difficult to get hit (slower enemy bullets? any number of things potentially). I felt that a few bullets hit me way before they got near me, though that could just be me needing to get better at playing games, lol. Overall this was a really fun experience.

Cool concept and challenging !
Really well done !
Cool game! Having to plan when to switch states and where to direct your gun was a fun challenge.
