The game is fun to play. My favorite part is the art. I'm not sure if these pictures were drawn by the creator, but they are the best and look so weird when they are put into the game. It reminds me of when I was a kid playing games with my friends and drawing in my notebook.

Developer

Thank you! I actually used my very limited artistic abilities to drawl the pictures. Used a sketch book, pencil, colored pencil, crayon and marker.

Interesting game! Liked the unique art style and animations. At first didn't understand where I need to click in revive part, but overall game is very cool!

This was so cute and love that it was a family adventure. Couple of feedback points for me, I wish it wasn't so brutal in resetting all the way back to the start when you die or fail the power... or at least allow skipping the intro scenes the second time around. I did struggle to understand the power the first time and failed, did it the second time though! It was fun overall, congrats ^.^

Thank you so much for playing our game and offering feedback on what can be improved!

You're welcome, to be clearer/more useful feedback on the power station - what I struggled with was I was clicking around and nothing gave me the feedback visually (it's in the top corner but it's hard to put 2 and 2 together). I intuitively presumed the power generator was the key but you have to pay attention to the top corner and clicking. I kept clicking around various parts of the  power machine not just the handle and when I did click the handle, the significance of it wasn't comprehended. I think an effect similar to the intro "zap" screen as feedback to the player when you press the handle would iron out that "what am I supposed to do" feeling. Hope that helps ^.^

That's super helpful, thank you for taking the time to write this. :)

I love the crayon-drawn art.  So cool.  I couldn't resurrect the hamster(or whatever it was).  I couldn't figure out how to boost the power LOL.  Cute game!

Thank you! To boost the power, you have to rapidly click the lever between lightning strikes and keep it at or above 90% to progress the resurrection. After the jam I'll add something to make it more apparent that's what needs to be done. Thanks for playing!

Ah, ok.  I managed to get it to 5% but I wasn't sure how LOL!

The visuals where a little bit mixed for me, sometimes they felt a little bit too cheezy and sometimes their style fitted well. The music choice on the other hand was excellent imo, really transported a nice vibe. Nice unique charm all in all.

What a fun game! I could really feel the heart and soul of your family pouring through this. From the art to the story, every piece of it felt like a family coming together to make something unique and extra fun! Hats off to you guys - I'd say you all succeeded! Looking forward to more!

Thank you very much! I had fun working with hubby and our niece. And I think the pups are kinda proud of their contribution to the game as well :)  There are ideas of more levels, so check back and see what's new!

Always loved hand-drawn art for games. Kept dying while exploring and ran into a bug where lives would not get reset and you would start with negative lives lol. Very fun though.
