Survived after drowning several times with 1261 gold :D.
After I sank, I had no gold left for new cargo, so I was either carrying very little cargo or an empty ship, but somehow when I sailed to port, I received gold for the cargo I didn't have :).
Cool idea with balancing cargo and transporting it! I love pirates, so it was fun for me to float and avoid danger on the water :).
Beautiful graphics and music that complement the game!
Maybe a multiplayer or cooperative mode, where you compete with each other to deliver the cargo faster - would add interest to the game :). And in that case, what are swimming without guns and shooting :D, and what about boardings? :D
It was fun, congratulations!

Wow really cool game. The pixel art is fantastic, the music fits the game very well, the sound effects are great (I love the dash sound effect), the whole game idea is cool and it really feels like you are steering a big boat! Maybe the collisions felt sometimes a bit unfair, as I collided with the green stuff even if I did not touch it. I think the hitboxes might need some adaption. I would rather make it too small than too big. It would be also cool if the character is animated (walking animation).
Congratulations to this very cool game! Very well done! Your game is the highlight of my rating session today: https://x.com/Stiggstogg/status/1919848406006083837
PS: Cool to see some fellow Swiss folks (or at least people based in Switzerland, as I saw "Geneva" on your webpage) participating in the jam. Greetings from Züri Oberland :).
Thanks for playing, and the shoutout on X! We'll have a look at those collision-boxes, because I agree that too small is better than too big. There's quite a lot we didn't have time to do during the jam (including animations on the character ;) ), we're hoping to keep working on this project and make it into a full-fledged game, so that feedback really helps!
PS: Ja, voll cool es paar anderi schwiizer i de jam dsgseh!
loved the graphics! I dont know why but my game kept getting stuck and had to refresh it a few times to play it....most probably network issue but I was able to play it after all! :D
Absolutely amazing! One of my favorites till now! Wishing you the best! 🙌🙌
Really creative concept! I love the idea of combining cargo balancing with shipping routes. The pixel art and music also feel just right and contribute nicely to the atmosphere.
At the moment, the placement difficulty feels a bit low. It might be interesting to introduce more challenge—perhaps by incorporating 3D spatial constraints, or requiring players to place new blocks at each port. That way, players would need to think more strategically about how to arrange everything efficiently. Great work overall!
Thanks for playing, and the feedback! Yes, as of now the loading part is a bit easy, we have quite a few ideas on how to make it more interesting (more complicated shapes, placement constraints on some cargo, etc.) that we'll hopefuly get a chance to work on after the jam ;) Again, thanks for taking the time to review our game!
Bien pensé et belle réalisation! La musique me plait beaucoup aussi.
Bravo!
WOW! The art style is amazing here, very great job. The gameplay is also fun, I found myself yelling at my ship when I was about to crash! XD
I did notice after a restart I had no money, potential bug?
Fantastic graphics and audio! Nice chill gameplay loop. Going downwards harder than upwards for some reason! Good job!
Interesting concept, and innovative use of the theme. Difficult but fun. Great job!
Cute graphics and fitting music. The gameplay fits the theme well. For some reason when I restart the game after losing, I'm left with the amount of money I had in the previous game. Walking animations on the player's sprite would have been a nice touch, but that's a minor complaint. Overall nice game!
Well Implemented game. Has Perfect theme of balance and fun while you ride the ship. I went like gta driving in the river😅. Loved it but i was able to ride the ship without any cargo. i went bankrupt. But still ride the ship. Great game!
Very well made game!I love the artstyle and the music, also the steering gameplay is fun (upstream it is better...)
This game deserves a longer gameplay (more trading trips, more diverse obstacles, more routes to take, simulated mooring in the harbors, etc.) Please tell me, that you are going to continue on this gem!
Pretty neat concept that fits the theme very well. The controls took me a little while to be acquainted with, and the reverse trip was a little hard to mentally process. Too bad I didn't made enough gold for a pint (493 gold, these pints are expensive in this world)!
It has a very appealing aesthetics and a nice music, maybe a bit repetitive. It would have been nice to have another music in the loading / rowing phase for variety.
Solid job overall!
Thanks for playing, and the feedback! We wanted to have a story around it to introduce the return-trip, but we ran out of time so I guess it's a bit jarring :P For the music we hestitated between changing it and keeping it the same for both loading and sailing, so we're happy to get some feedback on that cause we weren't sure which one was better ;)
Yes, pints are expensive, but you were so close, you can have one on the house :D
Not only should there be sufficient purchase and loading/unloading of goods, but also the goods should be delivered safely. The entire game is in harmony with the theme and gameplay in terms of "balance". I really like this game, and the music and sound effects of the game give people a very pleasant feeling.
fun to play game with lovely musics anf graphics. i had a great time playing !
I had a great time playing along with the pleasant music! The ship has a bit of inertia in its movement — in a good way — and once you get used to it, it feels satisfying to steer.
interesting concept, the art style on the characters looks amazing! I think I found a little bug the gold does not reset properly, after game over :D
