I really like these rogue-like wave type games. I was able to get to wave 5 (first one after the boss) before the shop-button failed to appear, and the variety of power-ups & their rarity make for great replayability.
One thing i found though, the boss was quite easy but also super long because he had such high HP, maybe balancing it out a bit to have a shorter, more intense fight would be nice.
Anyway, great entry overall!

I like the game. Looks cool. But it is glitched. After wave 4 the shop button just not appears for me and I can't have next waves.
Thank you for taking the time to try it! We accidentally baked in that bug just before pushing it and didn’t catch it in time. If you’re interested in getting past Wave 4, you’ll have better luck on our dev build!

I have played the dev build approximately for one hour and was able to get 8 level max. Too hard. Was not able to buy drone. Hard to get health regeneration. After boss the enemies moves extremely fast and all of them comes simultaneously. Looks like boss is not the hardest part but next levels are. Player moves some time after dead, so player can be dead, pickup life and play further. Some enemy death animation restarting if continiously shooted.
Summary - cool game, need to be improved.
cool game! the upgrade store was good, and it gave a vibe of bullet hell kind of game, i played two waves before i died lmao.
Great work on this project! I can't believe that ya'll did this much work in such a short time frame!
Base gameplay and loop are great, and I love the store with purchased upgrades and skill point upgrades as well!
Too bad for the bugs; I got up to wave 4 and was rolling until it wouldn't let me advance. I'll try again later if you think that sometimes it will let you advance.
Would love to play an updated copy after the jam once you iron some bugs out, etc.
Even the game name is about balance >_<

Thank you for taking the time to play the game. The music is made by a guy named One Man Symphony. He has an amazing collection of music and sfx for games that you can use for free. Highly recommend his stuff.
A pity that you had last minute bugs, but hey, it happens! it seemed like you had a great game for the jam, Hopefully you keep working on it! The game got stuck after wave 1, so I couldn't experience much of it, but I did have fun clearing that wave! congrats on your submission!

A solid game through and through. The audio , gameplay was very nice. I just don't think it fit the theme very well

Our idea for the theme was to display the Chaos meter at the top of the screen. The more unbalanced it becomes, the more chaotic it gets. Unfortunately, we encountered some bugs during our final push, so our implementation isn’t as sound as it should be right now. If you click the “Game Lore” button on the main menu, you’ll find some information about the Chaos meter there.
Oh!! Shame, that would have been very fun, though !

I’ve always been a huge fan of these types of games in college, and I’ve always dreamed of creating one of our own. We’re so proud of the concept we’ve come up with, and we can’t wait to fix these bugs and give people a much more authentic experience!
I really liked it, it’s the kind of addictive game with mechanics a bit like Vampire Survivor (but here you actually aim), Great game! Enemies hit really really hard haha
Some small feedbacks in my head:
- I had one run that bugged (I got stuck on a wave even though I defeated all the enemies), but on my second run it worked fine!
- The music go high at the beginning then slow, but I don't know if it is the original sound or code based.

I wanna apologize for that error on the waves ending, we pushed some last minute code that effected our enemy spawning logic and we didnt get a chance to fully test it haha.
For the music bug I was trying to diagnose that issue with it being so loud at start but unfortunately ran out of time before finding the issue.
