I managed to test your game fine enough, but even with a beefy PC, it started taking out resources like hell, so you may have some optimization issues. The game looks great!

It was fun! reminded me of the old .io games. It was difficult to tell at what point exactly you could eat the enemies, or where their hitboxes started. Very nice game!

Happy that Oso got to be materialised within a game! he looks like a good boy! that pesky water...

Quite fun and engaging! works really well, and the distance between the rock and the shrimp, and its relation to the speed boost is very well balanced. The levels are also quite well designed and the ramp in difficulty is very well carried out! Congrats

Aside from the invisible mouse that gets out of the screen, the game is very responsive and intuitive and pretty fun for such a simple idea. I mean this as a high compliment, since it is not always easy to envision a fun game loop out of a simple idea. Congrats!

Thanks a lot! I am glad you had fun! The idea is that you had to take a look at the words of the cards and the words of the enemies, and though about if they would be more or less effective.  The fault that this system didn't come across 100% lies with me, since I run out of time to select the best words for each card and enemy, and make sure the whole thing was balanced. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot!

Thanks! happy that you found the game mechanics fun! The basic premise was that you had to in fact memorise the interactions. Where I dropped the ball, was that I run out of time, to make sure the words of the cards and the enemies made more sense with the art, and with the actual interactions of cards vs enemies.

Thanks! yeah I totally agree! I run out of time to further balance it out, but happy it turned out decently

Thanks a lot! your game is also extremely polished!

I am also having difficulties with the framerate, and also using a quite decent PC. The game seemed quite cool, so it is a shame. Don't know what could be causing the problems, since godot tend to be quite friendly with html exports. It does have some issues with shaders, and maybe that is causing the problems?

Good game! the inventory dynamic is a pretty creative idea! I think the game could feel way more solid if switching between lanes was faster. Congrats!

Good entry! it plays good, it is fun, works as intended, and you can expand on it! you can add upgrades for example with the coins you get.

Cool game but after surviving the first night, having to wait all the day for the second one, was kind of tedious. The game felt pretty good to play!

Had tons of fun with it! it seems the upgrades are predetermined, which might hurt replayability, but very solid game! At first I couldn't manage to change weapons, and then I realised the game expected me to stop attacking to do so. Congrats!

It felt like a fever dream while being in drugs... 10/10 would baah again!!

between the premise, and the broken english, that was too much! I had a blaaaast!

Thanks for the good time!

Not really sure how the game is supposed to be played haha or what it has to do with the fourier transform! Hell, I even dont know why  clippy is on the main menu!

Fun game! quite unforgiving with only one life though! the upgrades give it an extra touch

(1 edit)

I got quite  a few S rated jumps! my srat was just going straight ahead, haha.  nice selection of chill music!

I read about the bug that impeded the possibility of actually having a game play. These things do happen though, so that is why an early export is a good idea. Regardless, the game felt pretty good! and had very good animations and sounds, and a very pleasing visual style.

Fun and cute game! loved the "bleh" sounds of the eyes attacking you. The interface to place the towers could use some QoL. You need 3 inputs to select a tower for building, and you can defiantly manage to do it with 2.

Had a blast playing it! favourite game of the jam in terms of gameplay. Working quite well and free of bugs!

Very engaging and well executed! I had a bug where the upgrade selection cards occupied the whole screen, and after that all upgrades had the same bug, making difficult to read them or select them. Excellent job on the game!

really good job for only a days work! congrats!

Glad you could enjoy it and finish all the levels!

We fortunately had a very talented artist Aeranima and a musician Benelios that provided much of the charm of the game. Sorry from my part, for the hammer dolphin bug. You can still check level 3 from the main menu.

Glad you liked it! It needs some work on the balancing aspect, but it is nice that it was decent enough for you to enjoy yourself!

it should have sent you to the level 3

Definitely missing some music, but the game works well, and the loop is fun. The incoming target could have used some more "signal" visualization to sell the theme even more.

At first I was convinced the waves were meant to move the objects and jump into them. Then I read the description, and though that the idea was to first jump into a wave, and then into a leaf. Then I finally discovered that it was waves all along! Great presentation, and the voice acting is what sold me the game to play it for while. Excellent job on the voice acting!

Great game! Very responsive and intuitive. Quite hard, and forces you to "Git Gud", and super enjoyable. Very crisp UI and general presentation!

I enjoyed the camera work, the visuals and the music. It could be more game-like by having a bigger city, so you can choose different interesting spots, and being able to have a few "nukes" before resetting the world.

Great entry! had tons of fun with it! Finally some justice for the BASS!! Since you need to draw so much, I think a good QoL improvement, would be to be able to just draw on the screen without the attack button, or have a keyboard input to trigger the drawing mode. Congrats on the great entry!

The game just starting took me by surprise! The dark and light mechanic is  a nice idea that could be further explored. One QoL suggestion would be to either auto-attack, or allow perpetual attacking by holding the mouse click down. Congrats!

The browser seems to struggle with the game, but I could still play it and enjoyed it! Maybe the shaders were too much for the html export

Had a blast playing it! the only thing that I would change is to also be able to jump pressing space bar. Really enjoyed the feel, the rhythm, the art, and the obstacles design.

Very cool bullet hell animations and patterns! It seems like the character doesn't have any health though? Still enjoyed pretending that I needed to evade the bullets!

Thanks! sadly I couldn't solve all the bugs in due time. Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, the art quality is amazing. All thanks to the teams extremely talented artist  Aeranima. Glad you enjoyed the way we incorporated the theme.

After a break of about 2 weeks, we will be patching the bugs and ironing out the balance. Cant promise more levels though! haha, but glad you enjoyed it!
