For the open source category, you'll need to have a README file and License file.

I spammed the buttons and managed to get a 25 streak. I might have broken the game, because then I wasn't able to hit any notes. It still showed my score going up, even if I wasn't pressing any buttons.

Great concept, I like that it's different instruments, but it's rather difficult to switch between the instruments and the notes... Maybe start with an "easy" (like easier than the easy mode) to get the hang of it. The music is lovely. You've got a good foundation for your game here. Nice job.

Thanks for playing!! We added a README and License file. :) The score increases based on the amount of time your bar is in the green area, so you will earn points even if you aren't pressing notes actively. We've gotten a lot of feedback on the difficulty so will work on creating a new easier level with fewer notes!

Nice. Love that you added in those files now and great job on taking feedback from people. Hopefully it's all useful tips and tricks for your next game jam or project.

Great concept. Nice visuals and sound.  But keeping track of which tool is selected while also hitting the right buttons at the same time  was  incredibly difficult for me.
Also, sometimes it says a certain instrument is locked, and it鈥檚 not really clear why or when that happens.
I also encountered a bug where, after the song ended, I couldn鈥檛 press anything, but the score kept increasing and the results screen never appeared.

Love the style, but it comes at you way too fast right off the bat, I couldn鈥檛 keep up.

I really enjoy rhythm games, and I think the core idea here is very creative! It felt quite tough, though — maybe having the meter more in the player鈥檚 line of sight and moving the part-switch button closer to the key inputs could help. I'm curious to see how this concept develops!

Really nice! Loved the art but it is quite difficult.

Nailed it! Perfect game, love the visuals!

Lol this was hard! the visuals and music was in point, but the game could really have used an easier entry level haha

Wow, this jazz rhythm game beautifully captures the spirit of 1950s-60s vintage jazz posters with its vibrant neon line art! The gameplay is smooth, though it might be a bit too challenging for me. Lovely songs! Great work!

This game kicked my ass in a good way. I had fun even though I probably missed like 80% of the notes in the 110 bpm song (still got S rank). Speaking of - I really love the music you guys made here; more jazz is always welcome in my book.

Despite being terrible at rhythm games, I quite enjoyed playing this entry. I absolutely love games like this that are chaotic in the best possible way, and the theme is really well implemented. Overall, it was a very unique game and I think you did a great job :)

I love rhythm games, so I clicked on this one so fast. It reminded me of amplitude, which is when you have to switch between tracks. Kinda hard to keep track of the balance meter while also hitting the notes, especially if you are on the piano. But I kept everything balanced on the first level! There may be a bug where the level doesn't end and sits in silence, with the score continuing to rack up.

Big rhythm game fan so glad to see someone tried it out for this theme! Even being experience with rhythm games, this was hard! If the difficulty was tuned town a bit, I felt like there would be more room to explore the "balance" aspect of this game. Love the music and art! Great work 馃憦馃徎
