nice execution of the balance theme! i enjoyed rapid clicking to build my industry (and ended up with the left half solely being buildings, haha). the grid and placement indicators helped me plan what structures to put where. one nitpick i have is that for me, the initial builder text was a bit clipped into the textbox when playing the game not fullscreened. overall, a solid start!

A solid game concept with great potential for expansion. It’s a bit hard to understand what to do at the start, and the effects of each building aren’t immediately clear, which can make the first moments feel a little confusing.
Personally, I think the game might benefit from removing the time-based system and instead progressing based on the player’s actions. That way, players could take their time and approach it more strategically. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!
Yes that is understandable, we will definetely add a tutrorial as pretty much everyone had the same issue, need to make it more intuitive.
Umm so the issue we did think of something of progressing based on the player, but couldn't think of anything to add to make it difficult to balance, was mostly thinking of making it in a tycoon based game but I think my hopes were too high as its the first game I have worked on.
Have not got get on how to balance at first, but then almost filled the entire plane with an ecosystem) Nice work!
What a well-made and dynamic game!
Love the visual style and sound effects. Took a little while to figure out the gameplay but quite easy to grasp after a few minutes. Music choice is spot-on for the game style.
A really great entry. Had a lot of fun playing it. Well done!
was a little confused at first but quickly got the hang of it, graphics are really nice and the music is good.
Cool concept, would love to see this a bit more fleshed out. I did get the feeling that the game got easier once I reached a certain threshold, probably because as the size increases individual buildings have much less of an impact?
My highscore was 379.71
Thank you for the feedback, yes actually as the game goes on the the growth is pretty balanced and it might be boring as well, and you got it right, the buildings do not have much of any impact. But I could not think of anything to add that would make the game more enjoyable in the later stages? make some upgrades or disasters that would halt growth?
Yes, maybe some upgrades/disasters, or add a 'pollution' component to the buildings that builds up & needs to be dealt with in the latter stages? It's a tough one but I think maybe if you constrain the size of the map it'll become easier to implement some solutions to it? Like having older trees that count for more, but needing to build 'cleaning' stations next to buildings that might force you to clear away the trees at that spot, or something along those lines?
