How does the game fit the theme?
The theme "Nothing can go wrong" is interpreted in two ways, the first in the sense that it is imperative nothing go wrong in the narrative of a mission critical space exploration with dire consequences for failure, and second in the gameplay being entirely deterministic, as literally nothing can go wrong.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used a BGM track made for a previous jam and the official Bevy logo for the splash screen.

Loving the style of the game! The music, the sounds, and neon colors, so good!
I did not have a clue what I was supposed to do, haha, but I had fun spam-clicking the board :D
It sounds cool and it looks pretty, but it's too hard for me.
Maybe level 1 should be much smaller, with a single obstacle, to ease players into it.
Ultimately, I clicked all the squares and all the edges and the display still said 3 choices remaining. So I'm not sure what constitutes a "choice".
Looks well-polished though, so kudos for that. Just needs easier onboarding.
Very clever game. Took me a while to understand how to play it. I successfully identified several anomalies, but struggled to clear the whole first level. Tough game. Everything looked very clean though and I enjoyed the music
After reading the tutorial and wiki page, I finally started to get it. But unfortunately, I am too stupid , too lazy to save humanity. Good game, nice job!
I read the tutorial couple times and tried playing around, but couldn't figure out the game mechanics.
Game could have used a proper tutorial, something where the targets are prelit, or something like that.
Other than that the execution is pretty solid, I like the style of it especially.
I loved the visuals and sound, the idea is interesting but it takes a while to go through and understand the rules and the puzzle mechanic is unique and fun. But, I after my first and deserved loss, it wouldn't register my submitting anymore. Restarting the game didn't help, not sure if anyone else experienced the same, I used the browser version if that helps.
I also agree with the points recommending more of a tutorial to ease players into the rules. But I like your presentation/visuals.
First, congratulations on finishing a game jam game! That is a significant accomplishment in and of itself.
This is an interesting puzzle game. It's rather difficult, and I have yet to successfully solve it. You may want to consider offering variable difficulty. Additionally, I am disappointed when I just fail, and I don't get to see what the correct solution was. Seeing the solution is helpful in me understanding what errors I made, which could help me improve in the future.
A mathematician may have opinions on whether every game is solvable according to the mechanics you created and whether a unique solution can be determined. You may want to explore yourself proofs to justify that the puzzle is solvable, if you have not already done so.
This feels like a minesweeper-esque game, and I think the core ideas are very good. The visuals are good enough given the time you had, though you could definitely get prettier in the future. I myself am not that into puzzle games, but I think this game has very good ideas.
Nice and simple. I agree with some other commenters that an easier intro/tutorial level would have been nice to help figuring out the bending rule. I like the background music.
Nice work! I really enjoyed the concept of this game–these types of puzzles are right up my alley. I did have a bit of trouble understanding the rules and controls, so some more tutorial would've been helpful and I agree with one of the previous commenters that starting with a simple level could've been nice too.
Besides that, the visuals and sound effects make this really satisfying to play too!
I... Must be stupid, I couldn't figure out how the game works on my own xD
You should add a super simple first level, with way less squares and/or add playback once you win/lose to see how everything interacts.
It seems very nice, and I want to be good at it but I can't right now, hahaha
Anyway, congrats :)
You're absolutely right, it was my intention to ease in to the mechanics but time did not allow. I have added a link to the ruleset the game is based off of that is hopefully more informative than my rushed infographic. I'll link it here too for convenience of anyone on this page. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Box_(game)#Rules
I appreciate the feedback!

Guess what? If you actually read the rules, it becomes possible and an actually fun thinking game!
