How does the game fit the theme?
Wizard Intern is a grid puzzle game with the objective of sliding each potion to its corresponding goal. Potions slide until they collide with walls or other objects, so moving them where they need to be isn't always as easy as it sounds.

The main mechanic inspired by the theme was the use of colored gates that only matching colored potions can pass through. In other words, "nothing can go" if it's the "wrong" color.

The theme is also incorporated into the story as this mechanic was created as a system where "nothing can go wrong" while sorting the potions, after the creator experienced mishaps with previous interns.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made everything except:
- The assets used to create the room in the main menu of the game
- The VFX used on the goals
- The sound effects and music

This might be my favourite game in this jam! I love puzzle games even though I'm bad at it. The aesthetics are great, the music is nice and the potion bottle bumping sound is very satisfying! I like how you introduce new mechanism gradually and easy to understand, then making more complex implementation of the mechanics! Also, I didn't expect the voice acting to be so good. The dialogs at the beginning of the level are really entertaining! This is very polished to the point I wouldn't think you made it in such a short time! One thing though maybe you could implement a button to reset the position of the potion bottles, because it gets really hard when I'm stuck sometimes.

Respect for the voice acting and visuals. Vibes of old puzzles, with which I started my career as a gamer. I liked it.

I would be glad if you rate our game and leave a review, too.

Those puzzles got pretty tricky near the end there. I like the presentation. Perhaps the game could use a button to undo your last move.

Wow this might be the best puzzle game I've played in the game jam so far! It starts off simple but then gets difficult which is great! I also love the new mechanics that get added. Great job!

Woah, the puzzles here were a lot harder than I expected towards the end! The game has a really nice vibe between the colors, sound, graphics, and humor. The length right now is great for the mechanics you have, it would be interesting to play an extended version with more mechanics to interact with.

Great challenging puzzle game! All the mechanics worked really nicely together to create some really interesting puzzles that had me planning out routes and being really satisfied when they worked out!

I love the "glowing" effect the potions had on the background! Love the voice of the wizard master!

Puzzles started off easy just to introduce the game mechanics but quickly got challenging.  Good for puzzle lovers.  Appreciated the spoken audio.  Music choice fit the game.  Good job!

fun cute puzzle game! although I couldn't figure out I think it was level 4, maybe a hint system or visuals hints would be helpful, or maybe my brain isn't great at this stuff. one more thing is that I think the area to click should be bigger because sometimes I might try and click it, but it doesn't work since the area might be too small. good stuff tho! :)

It was a pretty addictive puzzle game with fun gameplay, but I think it would have been cool to add more not letting things go wrong like having the bottles break or something. Overall a fun use of my time!
