I’m glad you like it! Thanks for letting me know, I’ll have to check it out

Thank you! Feel free to post a link to any games you end up using it on!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

Ha oops, thanks for letting me know about that mistake in the settings

Thank you!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback!

- I honestly think I just got lucky finding a satisfying fire sound. Took me a while, but I finally found one that just sounded right. I linked it on the game page

- Thanks! Yeah after making the main wind mechanic I was on the fence about having the player be a hero/villain, and eventually figured being a villain sounded more novel and satisfying. Glad you liked it!

- Holy cow I have no idea how your bf got such a high score, great job! I think my max was like 500k

I like that idea. I’m currently exploring the idea of either a post-jam update or (maybe?) a full game down the line, and that’s something I’ll have to consider. I feel like it was a novel game with a lot of potential, but that I didn’t really reach that full potential this jam

Thanks! I toyed with the idea of an infinitely large map and an incremental type game, but struggled with performance :/

Thanks for playing! I think you're right about the lack of objectives, I'll have to consider how I would fix that

Good art direction and vibes, easy to understand and fun game loop. I think having art on the cards would have helped make them more easily recognizable, especially since there is a speed element to the game and I found myself often having to re-read the cards to remember which one was which, but I understand that would have been hard to do during the jam. Great job

Thanks! I’m working on a complete overhaul, so it might take a little time

Thank you!

I’m glad the tutorial helped! I figured I had to add it because it wasn’t the most intuitive game. Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! Improved world generation is definitely something I would like to add to the post-jam update I am working on. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! I’m currently working on a post-jam update and plan on removing the timer, thanks for the feedback!

I spent more time on this that I thought I would lol. Fun and simple, one of the only times I've ever seen an idle game with 3d graphics.

Easy to understand, haha I really liked the 3rd and 4th levels. I found myself wishing I could go faster though, even with the dash at the end

Absolutely loved this. Excellent execution of a simple idea, I love the polish and charm you were able to put into this. Very satisfying

It took me a few tries to understand how the controls worked, but I beat it! A clever idea and an interesting mechanic that I think could be expanded upon if you wanted. The timing was a bit brutal to get right, but I also think that added to the vibe

I really liked the dust effects behind the character when moving. I found it quite difficult, but I'm not sure how much of that was the lighting (like someone else mentioned) or was intentional as part of the rage platformer. But good job!

Extremely well made. Like others, I had problems on Mac + Chrome, but even with those problems, it still felt like a very fun and well executed game.

Thank you so much! I am considering expanding it after the jam, for a lot of the reasons you mentioned. I think there is potential there and I wasn't quite able to reach that potential with this jam, so I may try exploring it more

Thank you! I originally wanted it to be a sort of endless game where you could burn a lot more, but I have some performance issues to iron out before it can handle that much fire, haha so I slapped a timer on it so things wouldn’t get too out of hand

Thanks!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I definitely think there needs to be more options for the player, I struggled to figure out what they should be

Surprisingly immersive and fun, with more depth than I originally anticipated. Fun and addicting

Simple, but fun. I liked the simple but cohesive art style, and the animation for switching between the menu and play scene looked really good. It was surprisingly fun to just chuck my frog as far as I could

Welp. That was terrifying

Simple and fun. The audio definitely fit the retro arcade vibe, and I thought the art was quite nice.  Good job!

Very cool art style and great vibes overall. The game was quite difficult, but maybe I was just bad at it. Very effective take on a simple mechanice

Thank you! And good point about needing more polish, particularly with audio, somehow lighting sound fx didn't even cross my mind

A lot of very good people, the best people, are saying this is the greatest game ever made. That's what they're saying

But seriously, the game was simple and well implemented, a thought-provoking interpretation of the theme. Very good job on the art style as well

As soon as I saw someone else made a fire game, I had to try it. I like the concept and the audio, but like other comments suggest, I think some work on balancing would go a long way. For such a cozy looking game, it felt quite difficult and I'm not sure if that was the intent, mostly because of how expensive things were.

As soon as I saw there was another game about spreading fires, I knew I had to try it out. I loved the art and music in particular, well done. I didn't fully understand some of the UI elements until I came back and read the comments on this page and then had to give it another go

I haven't reached Earth yet. I died on the third planet I found, but I did successfully complete several jobs. I think the most fun part for me was flying in the ship and exploring. I found some of the text options during dialogue hard to click for some reason, so that made parts of the experiences on the planets less enjoyable.

Thanks for playing! Odd, yeah there definitely should have been music, I'm not sure what might have caused that. I'll have to do some testing, thanks for letting me know

This game is massive, very impressed that you have so many unique systems working within the timeframe. Lots of interesting and unique mechanics, well done

Unique idea for a puzzle game. I particularly liked the audio. I am not nearly smart enough to solve some of these though lol

Thank you so much! That means a lot

As someone who has read this book far too many times, I was excited to try this game out. I really enjoyed the funny dialogue and analog art. The game was deceptively difficult, but fun enough that I had to stick around and beat the whole thing. Well done!

I'm a sucker for a good leaderboard. The game reminded me of mobile games I used to spend way too much time playing.

Simple and fun, I played this a bit before the actual deadline and spent more time than I had planned. It's a simple twist on a classic game. I also have no idea how you made that loading screen at the beginning, but I really liked it
