Beautiful game! All the art and sounds are amazing! The theme is very well implemented as well! I did have a difficult time understanding how the gameplay worked, but other than that, great job!

Wow, what an incredible game! Just like last year (I remember the first opus very well), the graphics are simple and effective, and the musical ambience is superbly immersive. I was transported once again, it was a magnificent experience. And what an original idea to continue the same series over several jams! I'm curious to see how far this will go ^^

I too had a little difficulty understanding the purpose of the mini-game, but it wasn't so bad for the immersion that I think is the game's biggest interest :)

Thanks for playing. This idea to continue from jam to jam with the same story is a way to hone both my storytelling and game design instincts inside the high speed structure of the time limit. I don't have a planned story in advance, and i didn't think of it at all until this game jam started. So i'm definitely interested in hearing players' thoughts about what isn't working and why, so I can learn as much as possible from each chapter. That's what's important to me here, so  I really appreciate the time you took to give feedback, especially when there are thousands of games to be tried out. Cheers.

Also, if you're interested in seeing the ending of this chapter, I've uploaded the solution to the map puzzle on the game page. You can als find it here.

I loved the cut scene at the start, it gives me cowboy bepop vibes. The visuals and audio are really good, but I coulnd't find out how to complete the puzzle, do you know how? I would really like  to complete the game, well done on making it, it looks awesome :)

Thanks for playing! It seems that my explanation for the puzzle is not as clear as I thought. I am glad you enjoyed the other parts of it though. Cowboy Bebop is definitely one of my early influence. Here is a link to a picture of the solution so if you wanna get past it, check it ouy there :)

Ah sorry about that. Fixed it. If you try now it should work.

I just finished playing both games, I really enjoyed the story for both! I also loved how at the end of the second one it shows the path they took around the planets and disturbances, really well done, can't wait to see more if you planning it, but if not its still really good as it is, well done!

Awesome! So happy you enjoyed, and that you noticed the the ship taking the path at the end :)  I am planning to continue this story in tiny chapters like this in game jams in the future. If you're curious to know what happens, give me a follow, that way you can know when i do the next one. Cheers!

Also, I am sorry that I wasn't able to play your game, because I have a mac computer :|

No problem, and  I've just followed, I'm exited to see what you make next!

Loved the intro and story telling, I liked that the idea that it continues from the last jam, but not having played that game it would have been nice to know what the story was there. Audio and visuals were also great, and the puzzle seemed fun but I couldn't figure out how to complete it. Could be just me, but were we only supposed to use the arrow keys and P key or did I miss something? Over all great job!

Developer (1 edit)

Unfortunately, the puzzle did end up unclear because I didn't have enough time to have others play test it. It is by using arrow keys and P buttons, like you said. There are no other controls. But How you are supposed to decipher it is hard for me to explain. As for the story of the last gam, the first line of this one gives you a summary. Here is the link to the first game. It can take less than 5 minutes to play if you are interested. There is also a youtube video of a playthrough someone uploaded on that page if you prefer :) Regardless, I really appreciate you trying out my game, and taking time to give detailed feedback. Thank you so much!
