How does the game fit the theme?
The game is mainly about one of the most common problems that usually happen in life, when you think that the plans you have are going to be fulfilled, but something opportune happens and what you had planned is ruined, Lonely tells the story of Kara, who when returning home at night, plans to watch a movie, nothing can go wrong ... right? Well, there is a power cut, and that's where the game begins.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The main assets I did not create are the 3D models, art-related elements, style, animations, I also did not create the sounds or special effects, I even modified several elements, all of this under the license of each of the respective assets.
The other things like mechanics, movement, UI, the idea of the atmosphere, the architecture of the house and lighting, the integration of the entire world of Lonely, were created by me, with the help of the Unreal Engine and other tools.

How many people worked on the game?

Ok, so:

- The ambience is great. The combination of isometric camera with heavy depth-of-field makes it look like a miniature set, which I'm guessing was the intended effect.

- The sound is pretty good. The camera movement "whoosh" was a cool detail. The faulty electrics and doors opening were nice too.

- Mechanically, I really liked that the camera displacement is needed in order to see the rooms better to find stuff. The battery system worked well, too.

Regarding problems: Instructions were not great. Sometimes they just weren't correct, as when you fix the outer fuse box but the message doesn't change and the lights stay off, so there's no way to know that you gotta go to the TV. Then there's an issue with the interaction pop-ups: They point towards a fixed direction instead of the typical "billboard" effect towards the screen; this made it unnecessarily harder to find the duct tape and the last two faulty cables. Lastly, there seems to be an issue with the ending sequence, as the TV sound can be heard but the TV itself shows nothing.

Besides those details, the game went pretty smooth. Impressive job for a single week!

The visuals were amazing, loved the details especially the outside environment with the wind blowing details. Sound effects were also great, and the puzzles were fun.

Congratulations completing the game in a week, especially as a solo dev, and using Unreal. That's an accomplishment to be proud of.

I like the graphics for the game and wandering around the main character's house. With the puzzles, I think I may have cheated. They were very hard to solve initially, until I learned the pattern and was able to keep the character's phone off while completing the tasks; the composure bar (which you misspelled) does not go down if you never turn your phone on. It took many tries to figure out that batteries were a thing, which had me wondering for a while whether the game is solvable.

Your game title, "Lonely," along with some description of the game, seem to promise something that I do not believe the game delivers: a more moody experience where we explore loneliness and frustration. Maybe there's something philosophical in that when you're lonely you solve problems in the dark because you decide you just don't need light (I can see that), until you see light and for some reason that sets something off in you. I was kind of hoping to see the game lean more into what your title seemed to be suggesting. But I did like the game.

Really interesting game, loved everything about it. And for a solo dev, it's a really good one.. was hoping for more puzzles honestly haha.. nevertheless, I did not only enjoyed but also got inspired with top down for jams, you really did a great job.

Good design and camera positioning. Great work!

I love how the high depth of field makes the house look like a miniature model. It feels like moving through a board game! Great take on the theme, good job!

Nice concept and I had fun playing it. I needed three tries to complete the game, it is kinda hard but makes fun and somehow gave me chills :D

This game is too stinking hard! The game is very harsh on the speed you need to get stuff done when you don't know where anything is. It seems like a good concept but needs refinement.
