I loved playing this game. Even though it was a bit short, and could have used a bit longer levels, the message it delivered fit the theme perfectly and did that with gorgeous visuals and intriguing gameplay. Sound FX were satisfying and the background music too. The background music could however have either been longer, or have consisted of multiple tracks as I found it quite repetitive.

The bg music was really my number 1 concern on this game, would have wanted to add more tracks on it. Ill try to update it after the rating period.

Really nice, relaxing game, but the regaining motivation felt a little too button mashy for me. Nice movement code as well, and normally I don't like it when a character doesn't have smooth movement (accel and decel) but I think, as you used a box character, I feel it is ok, and it didn't hurt the feel of the controls much.

Kinda the smoothest platforming experience of all games from the jam.
Really like the cute box and the level end animation is just so satisfying.
Also the music and sfx were good.

I really liked the colour scheme and the controls also felt snappy and responsive! I even liked how getting hit by those red things wasn't necessarily an end, it was a nice bit of polish being able to shake your player awake! I'm not sure if it was intentional but some dots covered the screen when you jumped in the last level. I also like the goal how it wasn't just a flag, really unique idea- really helped the message of effort be more impactful within the gameplay! Overall, this is a great jam entry!

That little blobby thing is so cute. I loved the pixel art and sounds, including the messages that were shown in the levels. (I couldn't get past Day 6, though. It was too hard D:) Great game overall!

I like this. The platforming, the inspirational message, the sounds, and the art it's all great. Nice job. (Music gets a little repetitive though)

Really cute game! I enjoyed the success sound for beating a level. The music, art, and gameplay fit the theme very well. I got hit by those little red blocks every single time, haha. I noticed you just have to shake it off, but it took me a second to realize I had to hit the keys repeatedly. Not a big deal though. Overall, very fun little game!

Cute platformer! I liked the wake-up mechanic and the character animations. You even managed to add sound and music. I myself like it when the character has momentum and keeps on moving a bit (particularly during a jump) if I stop movement input, but thats personal taste. Could be worth a try though, if thats something you haven't done before.

Lovely! It made my day better with this simple motivational sentences! I encounter some kind of bug with "Day 0" on screen all the time but it didn't interrupt gameplay at all

THEME: Does it fit by being minimalistic?
VISUALS: Simple but good.
INNOVATION: I felt like the way you had to press a, d when you got shot was nice!
SOUNDS: Nice!
MUSIC: Nice calming.
DESIGN: I didn't love the controls, I feel like you should have the option to do arrow keys and if you do a and d to move I prefer using w to jump.
OVERALL: Really nice game with a good message.

I had trouble getting this to run on Chrome (but I suspect it was one of my extensions interfering). Firefox worked just fine and I really enjoyed your game. The controls are tight, the narrative interweaves with the levels really nicely. Really solid game :)
