Hey Jango, thanks for the follow! No idea how else to message people on here, but you gave great feedback on this jam game and I wanted to connect.  We're in the very early stages of making a game like this for Steam and wanted to see if you'd be open to providing feedback on it when the prototype is ready (likely a couple months out).

Whoa, yeah that is odd for non-full screen. Thanks for the screenshot! Mind sharing your monitor’s resolution? If not, no worries.

Fun game! Simple, but the pacing was good and your idea very well executed. I especially liked when the infinity loop was introduced.  I wish there was a bit more added difficulty towards the end for a final challenge, but overall great game!

Thank you for playing and the kind words! Happy you liked it.

For the scaling, do you mean just full screen or non-full screen too? Thanks again for the feedback!

Thank you for playing and leaving such thoughtful feedback. Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Thank you!

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it!

No worries, same here lol. Thanks for playing!

Fun little game! As other's have said my main recommendation would be to control spawning a bit better. I played through quite a few times and found that I did best when I moved less, but I feel the game could be better if you spawn in obstacles less instantly. Maybe they could flash a few times or something as a sort of heads up so I had time to react. Either way, I had fun. Congrats and nice work!

That was clever! It took me a while to get the hang of it, but when I did, the mechanic was super impressive and fun to play around with. Fits the theme perfectly, great job all around!

Enjoyed the atmosphere in this, music really adds to it. Only thing I wish I could've done was move the camera around with my mouse to take in the level a bit better. Other than that, I had a fun time!

Loved the retro feel, fun game once I got the hang of it. Nice work!

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Makes sense, thanks for playing anyways!

Thanks for playing!

Hmm, I think what you expected to happen would’ve been better lol.. my initial thought was the player would  focus solely on unselected bulbs so skipping the already selected ones made sense, but your feedback changes my perspective on that. If we update after the jam, that’d be something I’d likely change. Thanks for the great feedback!

Hey, thanks! Glad you liked it :)

Thank you for playing and leaving the kind words, really glad you enjoyed it! Great point about the game picking colors you don't have, I know exactly what you mean. We wanted to add something in to make sure it always picks a color you have, but just ran out of time. Thanks again for playing!

I am clearly no good at platformers >.< fun little game though, great work!

I'm my own worst enemy in this game, haha. Great idea, very amazed you did all this in such a short time.

Every time I thought "is this it?"  the game surprised me. It genuinely made me smile :) seriously great game, congrats and good job!

Hey there, thank you! Yeah, when I originally made the conveyor system, a huge part of it was to detect adjacent pieces and auto-select/rotate the pieces. It ended up more frustrating than just letting the player choose pieces and rotation. However, I did keep some of the auto-rotate stuff as a sort of hybrid helper, but it was very much just thrown together at the end. As many comments (including yours) point out, it turned out to be anything but helpful in its current state ( -.-) Anyways, thanks so much for playing and providing your feedback!

Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

Oof.. yeah conveyors should be free, my bad. Glad you liked the UI though, despite the lack of layering. That's an interesting idea about gaining additional raw materials rooms. I definitely plan to try out a few things people have recommended after the jam. Thank you for playing and sharing all the great feedback!

I'm sorry -.- it's unfun to lose that way and something I would absolutely change. Conveyors should be free and deleting stations should give some money back. Despite the issues, I'm glad to hear you had fun some fun with it. Thanks for playing!

Thank you! Yeah, for some reason I thought selling equipment would make it too easy, but I regretted that decision after being able to play test longer (after the jam ended -.-). We did have a 4-way cross piece early on, but it made no sense to cross conveyor paths.. however, a 3-way split would’ve been a great idea! Thanks for playing and providing your feedback!

Oh wow, you surpassed my playtesting best of sometime in year 3. I did find myself "saving" pieces as a sort of workaround, but, like you mentioned, the whole scaling system really needs to be reworked. Scaling up is too disruptive as is and almost feels like a punishment rather than the rewarding goal we were aiming for it to be. Also agree the UI needs significant work and optimization was, regrettably, a low priority during the jam. Really happy to hear you enjoyed it enough in it's current state to get as far as you did. Thanks for playing and providing such great feedback!

Thank you! Yeah the scaling mechanic was a bit of a bust, I didn't put enough thought into how it could unintentionally punish players. Thanks for playing and really appreciate the feedback!

Wow, just learned I am TERRIBLE at eyeballing fruit weight. The game itself is fantastic, very well polished! The tutorial part was so friendly it had me going in feeling confident, but I couldn't cut it in the real world.. such a waste  -_- Great job though, really impressive submission!

Hey there, checking out yours now. Here's ours:

Thanks!

Ah, gotcha! Makes sense, thanks again 🙏

Thank you for all your detailed feedback! Absolutely agree on the scaling issue where your system gets “messed up” after scaling and no money, great point. One question if you get a minute - what did you mean by “make the scaling part side by side”? I agree the scaling system definitely needs work, but not sure I understand your suggestion. Either way, thanks for playing!

Wow, surprised you were able to get so many features into the game within a month. Great job!

Fun little game! I wish I could play against an AI bot, but I could see that being tricky to make in 1 month. The liquid visuals and audio were great, nice submission!

Thank you for the kind words! Happy to hear you had fun. We do plan on taking it further after the jam, so I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop. Lots of ideas we ran out of time to try. Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

Cute little game, really enjoyed it! Other than a small UI issue where the combos clipped off to the left a bit, everything felt very well polished. Great job!
