Wow dude I wasn't even aware you can do that in unity. You literally made a complete 5-dimensional game. This deserves some awards. Really polished for a game jam didn't find a single bug. Not a single criticism to make the game is just perfect. People have tried for years to make such a game and have failed and you succeeded in making it in a week. Damn.
This game feels so polished, you can definitely see the time and effort that it was put in this little game!! The artstyle it's none other than a masterpiece, even if you gave me a month for making the game i still wouldn't be able to replicate the simplicity, but beauty of this project, and don't even let me start on the music... it's honey for my ears (and gosh, if i love honey!!!) There are some things missing form this game (all listed in below comments, so i won't repeate them :/), but nothing too major that compromises the overall experience!! Great Job!!
Also i found the secret code you left in the barrel to unlock the golden skin, was too much hidden imo (i had to clip the camera into the barrel to find it and use the zoom feature in my pc to read it), so I'll post it right here (so other people won't have to go to the trouble that i had to find it): "SEYSIHTSAWTSUJROFETHSEMEM"
Alright here goes. The skybox seems interesting, I do wonder if there's some secrets in it though I personally wasn't able to find any, there probably aren't any but I figured I'd check since it's mostly a meme. Some finer bits of feedback:
- It fits the theme better than most, if not all of the entries I've seen and played which is nice to see. Plus as someone I know said, it seems more like a piece of art than a game, which is cool.
- Unless I'm missing something there's not particularly much to actually do in the game, I was hoping hitting keys and such might lead to some sort of secret but there wasn't any I found in the bit I attempted it, as I said. Though adding something like that could be helpful.
- The inability to easily close the game was a bit annoying, would be nice to have just a hotkey for it. Though I mean there's the good ol' Alt + F4 so that works. Or just what I do, tab out.
Somehow I managed to write a paragraph on this, I was challenged to do it by my Twitch chat (I had to explain this somehow) since I've been doing it for the other games I've played and rated. I don't know how I did, but I bs'd my way into a decent paragraph.
Also, some of the points they suggested:
- For some quick feedback on the movement, I couldn't figure it out.
- There was no tutorial.
- It's not a new project because there's a sky.
- I don't see credits as to where the sky assets came from.
- The difficulty curve of the game isn't the best.
- The fact that there is no pause menu is really annoying.
dear EroAxe.
while i completely agree with you, i don't at the same time and I'll explain why. as it seems you have played the game but you didn't really played the game.
while you criticize the game a lot you forgot to mention a lot of the good stuff about the game I'll leave a bit of good stuff from the game
- the movement is amazing
- the visuals are just great it looks like its an exe piece of art
- the story telling is just amazing it feels like I'm watching an amazing interactable movie
- the music is just WOW and the sounds that's really a great way to show what you can do in so little time
I'll let you figure out all the other amazing experiences that game makes you feel.
here's a little story for good luck
Once upon a time, there lived a shepherd boy who was bored watching his flock of sheep on the hill. To amuse himself, he shouted, “Wolf! Wolf! The sheep are being chased by the wolf!” The villagers came running to help the boy and save the sheep. They found nothing and the boy just laughed looking at their angry faces.
“Don’t cry ‘wolf’ when there’s no wolf boy!”, they said angrily and left. The boy just laughed at them.
After a while, he got bored and cried ‘wolf!’ again, fooling the villagers a second time. The angry villagers warned the boy a second time and left. The boy continued watching the flock. After a while, he saw a real wolf and cried loudly, “Wolf! Please help! The wolf is chasing the sheep. Help!”
But this time, no one turned up to help. By evening, when the boy didn’t return home, the villagers wondered what happened to him and went up the hill. The boy sat on the hill weeping. “Why didn’t you come when I called out that there was a wolf?” he asked angrily. “The flock is scattered now”, he said.
An old villager approached him and said, “People won’t believe liars even when they tell the truth. We’ll look for your sheep tomorrow morning. Let’s go home now”.
moral
Lying breaks trust. Nobody trusts a liar, even when he is telling the truth.
next time don't judge a game before you play it for at least 75 hours

i rated the game 2/5
This is genius. I can't leave that great of a rating, but well played.
Well, you weren't wrong. Does exactly what it says. I don't know what I expected.
Amazing game, with very satisfying lack of mechanics and beautiful visuals of the default skybox. Definitely looking forward to the sequel
absolute masterpiece. the gameplay is stunning and the graphics are amazing. I keep coming back for more.
5/5
At least it adheres to the theme right?
I'd love it if you'd play my game as well XD
