Very relaxing and interesting concept, I can see this being quite a game with some more polish and extra levels. I much prefer the levels like the one with the bridges or the one where you dodge the boosts, to the long straight path with boosts as it felt boring doing in a straight line without much challenge, otherwise solid concept give it some polish and more levels and honestly this is a really enjoyable and relaxing game.

Fun idea ! I liked using some powerup on the floor to change from just moving. Would love to this this expanded !

Cool idea! i think it has great potential :)

Reminded me of games like Monkey ball or those early motion games on iphone!

Interesting concept! It can be polished further but still very fun and addicting to play! Would love to see how it can be expanded in the future.

Cute game, but the constant aiming down to the floor made it very hard to look ahead to see where the ball is supposed to be going. Music is very simple in a good way. Very cool that you made this with Bevy! Thank you for your game.

I like the idea, the floaty controls on the golf ball make it quite challenging to maneuver around the levels. What this game really needs is a big coat of polish! The music got very repetitive after some time, and a little irritating actually. The camera is also a bit jittery whenever you start up a new level and I had a few issues starting up the game for the first time in regards to my mouse not showing and my browser freezing for a bit. Other than that this is a good implementation of a simple idea, good work and keep making games!

Quite easy and relaxing. Some elements could be polished, but overall congratulation!

Very relaxing game. The camera is a little wonky when going in the holes. The penultimate level is 3x harder than any other level. Otherwise, a nice little relaxing golf game. The models look pretty good. Good job!

Cool game.

I thought that the difficulty was spot on. I liked the theme interpretation, although the game idea is quite simple.

The music choice was good. Very relaxing and fit the graphic style.

For improvements, maybe add another mechanic or some more exotic powerups to provide more gameplay variety.

Overall, a nice little submission. Keep it up!

Developer

We actually implemented a trampoline and we even had a level with it ready, we ran out of time while the level was compiling in, so that's a bummer. We're certainly going to add more diverse and interesting mechanics after the jam.

Good take on the theme and the game controls well! Could use some more polish but well done for 48 hours!

Great music vibe to golf to. Vibey

i like the concept and how the game controls! but i feel like the graphics can use some work. nice job for 48 hours though!

Really cool idea and the first two levels feel nice. The inertia is a good idea to incentivize speed through the level without having a timer I think that's the games strongest aspect

Kind of feels like a Super Monkey Ball game or something like that, not many golf elements in this game besides a small speed boost at the start, still pretty well made nonetheless, camera could use some work but the levels are well made

Overall enjoyed the experience! Didn't realize mouse controlled camera and then was fighing the camera a bit. Liked the level of challenge and the concept. Good stuff!

Short and sweet. Love to see more levels.

Camera need some polishing.

It would be nice to add a delay when the level loads and ball getting hit or let player trigger hitting the ball. Need time to re-orientate yourself and figure where you need to go. See this game as more of a puzzle game than a speed running challenge.

Speed boost added a good variety.

Solid use of theme for a good game!

Although the idea is not the most unexpected, this proves that it is very viable! I'd suggest texturing the grass so you can better see how fast you're going. Good stuff :)

The camera angles were confusing sometimes, and I couldn't really tell if I was moving because the golf ball was overexposed.

Submitted(+1)

Pretty neat game, my only gripe with the game sometimes was the camera of the game. Overall nice work!

nice concept! I think one changes you could make is it probably reset the level once the player runs out of stamina but also cant finish the level.

Developer

We do actually! Once the stamina depletes and the ball velocity is under a certain threshold, the level resets. The threshold is probably too low, but we didn't want to accidentaly reset the level when someone would actually score the hole-in-one with what little velocity they have left. The level resetting system is certainly something we should work on more after the jam.

yup i mean maybe could increase the threshold for that or maybe you could accelerate the time so the player dont have to wait long!
