Fun take on tower defense in general. I've seen a lot of reverse TD games here, but this is the first that's abandoned the enemy path, and honestly it's for the better. I can easily see this being fleshed out into a full game!

Great spin on a tower defence! It would definitely be interesting to see more units and levels to beat.
The concept is really interesting and well executed, although a few improvements could be made. I think adding a kind of "brush" tool to spawn more units at once would make the game feel much better to play. Also, the ram has too much health in my opinion, making it too easy to win. A thing to consider if you're going to work on the game post-jam is making the font bigger, so that people with worse eyesight can read the unit descriptions.
I liked the level design. It was also really satysfying to watch my units destroy the enemy fortifications. I would love to see this idea built up on some more. Good job on the game!
Yeah that is a good point, I might wont on a font or ui scalability settings for the game I will be testing out other ways to handle the UI. In terms of the brush I did want to add in the ability to spawn formations of multiple units or to have a draggable square to spawn units in mass unfortunately I did not have the time but it is definitely something I will look back at.
I do need to work on balancing to make sure the game isnt too easy or too hard. Maybe I'll work on difficulty types as well and see what happens. The ram is definitely a bit tanky at the moment.
Thank you for playing the game and I plan to continue work on this project!
I love it. This has potential. You have to work on the balancing, the game's speed and improve the presentation a bit. Keep working on it!
Thank you for playing, if you have any tips for types of balancing I could work on then I am all ears! We did have plans for other unit types but ran out of time, one was going to be a shielded unit that was a stronger barbarian and would try to stay infront of units absorbing fire form the towers. Thank you
