How does your game fit the theme?
It's a twist on a popular Vampire Survivor game and genre. Instead of being a player character, we control a group of swarming enemies attacking him.

Outstanding Masterpiece of a Game! As a fellow birb myself I approve of this phenomenal game I had the pleasure to enjoy. I loved spawning bigger and stronger swarms of Jacks until my whole screen was filled to the brim with nothing but sparrows. It is an incredibly satisfying game with awesome visuals and music. Fantastic Work, Good Job!

A great game with some really nice visuals, the theme choice is funny, and the gameplay is a good twist on the Vampire Survivor game.

Maybe a little bit too easy, buth you can't expect a perfectly balanced game in only 48 hours.

What a nice home page! And you guys just look like an amazing group of friends! If only I was a part of such a big group developing a game for a game jam :D (yes I check the credits xD)

I'm pretty surprised that you guys don't have more votes - this game is a real gem! It is extremely polished, featuring amazing art, awesome audio, and fun gameplay. You guys even made such a simple yet detailed tutorial. I was stunned by how polished it looked. The gameplay might get a tiny bit repetitive near the end, but still, this is a very cute game! Loved it!

Super cute game! The visuals are astounding and the music is very catchy. Making it bird and bread themed gave it such a silly charm and I loved that. Really good looking! Also props for such a detailed credits section. It was nice to see a photo of the whole team :)

The most creative vampire survival I've ever seen at this jam! Top marks for the idea!

Fun game. I find the game beautiful, easy to catch, the sound is good, creative idea. There is only thing that the only thing I do in the game is spamming number buttons, and it's quite bored after a while. Anyway, good job.

VERY fun game! Really polished as well, just wished that we didn't have to click to spawn the birds so much. Other than that, this game is a hoot! :>

Wanted to make a twist on vampire survivor too, but I wasn't sure how to make that work. Gotta say, what you guys managed to achieve within 2 days is surprisingly very polished, to the point where it feels like a full game that could potentially compete with vampire survivor itself if actually made endless!

Some improvements I feel could make the core gameplay loop better are, firstly, maybe having at least the more basic pigeons be auto-cast off cooldown each time. After a while, my hand started to hurt from spamming the pigeon button. I think it could also be interesting to be able to choose where certain birds will spawn at, especially the jacks since they fly in a straight line. I realized halfway through my playthrough that if I am lucky, I could actually use the jacks to move the "Player" towards steven, or a bunch of pigeons, so being able to choose where jacks spawn from could add more strategic depth.

Other than that, I really love this game, especially the upgrade that adds more birds to each time I press a button, and I would definitely appreciate an endless mode!

Such a cute game! The art is genuinely adorable and it's really pleasant to look at.

I did feel a liiiittle mixed about having to spawn the birds myself, though? In one way, it is more fun to make it feel like you spawned the birds yourself, but I did see myself focussing more on the cooldown buttons rather than watching the birds and bread battle it out. Maybe it would've been nicer if the spawn buttons where closer to the timer/upgrade timers?

Still though! It's really fun to watch the chaos unfold when I can, and the variation in behaviour that the birds have is really nice. I especially like the upgrades that make you spawn more birds each time - I just love watching the screen fill up with the cute sprites!

I really love the twist haha. Really such a cute game!! I love that you can just swarm the bread with pigeons only haha. I wish it was endless :x

Great twist on one of my current favourite games!

Loved maxing out my pigeons! Enjoyed this a lot, great work!

(also loved the references in the bird names)

The theme is cool and the art is pretty. The concept of playing the horde is very fun. You could add the support to hold the keys to send instead of requiring to spam after a few upgrade on the cooldown reduction.

Good job!

Fun and hilarious! Found the game audio running out every so often when I was spawning so many pigeons that it couldn't handle parsing that many sounds at once!
