Simple to grasp yet hard to master—this is superbly designed! And the music absolutely slaps!

After reading the comments, I agree the game needs a better tutorial. The key is guiding players to understand your design thinking through simple, structured steps before throwing them into the full experience

That said, this was made during a game jam—it’s completely understandable these polish elements weren’t prioritized. Great work regardless, and good luck if you choose to develop this further!

Though I got pretty frustrated with the final looping point—couldn’t tell if it was automatic or manual. Maybe a clearer indicator would help?

I don't think fighting with controls is a great thing though—I’d suggest simplifying them (at least keeping movement to one plane). The 3D thinking plus reversed controls when the camera flips feels too mind bending for me.

Maybe control hands with mouse by dragging them and can make them freeze to switch between hands, but idk

Oh, thanks for the criticism! I actually agree the game really needs a simple tutorial - many players might not realize they're controlling pedestrian traffic lights. When you press either of the two lights they affect one pedestrian crossing, so all the cars stop before this crossing.

In terms of the theme interpretation my design intention was: since traffic lights operate on a loop, the game becomes about maintaining that loop to prevent chaos

Wow, this completely surprised me - felt super adventurous with this music! Pure RNG chaos though, haha. Somehow made it to the end!

Pretty solid entry! I’m not usually a fan of puzzle games, but I can definitely see others enjoying this one to the brim

Really cool card game concept – such a fresh take on the theme!
Just two small notes: the late-game opponent animations drag out turns a bit, and the RNG sometimes feels overly swingy.
Still, awesome work overall!

There are definitely balancing issues to address for better engagement, but it's super hard to nail everything in such a tight timeframe!
That said, the core concept, artwork, and sound design are all fantastic - great job!

Not gonna lie, maybe a bit too much reading than I usually go for in games 😅
But the concept itself is fire! Good stuff!

The gameplay feels a bit slow at times (almost too realistic) - would love to see snappier Wario Ware-style pacing!

There were actually a few ideas behind the money mechanic—like repairing broken traffic lights or special pedestrians that require bribes to leave— sadly I had limited time during jam period, but still wanted to at least get a working version submitted - so these ideas got shelved for now

Though the difficulty ramps up just a bit too quickly for my taste

The gameplay idea is really creative and fits the theme perfectly!
The clone mechanic is interesting, though I found myself sometimes dying unexpectedly from my own clones - maybe there could be a way to make those interactions more predictable?

But performance issues (likely from lighting) are affecting the precision gameplay a bit too drastically(

Couldn’t quite figure out the gameplay mechanics and how score works
Also, the music is a bit too loud
But concept is fun

A bit too hardcore for me but very well crafted game overall

Vibe reminds me of Yume Nikki, which is one of my most beloved games

Well, yeahhhh... Originally the concept was just to make genderswap. But after I finished modeling and after some playtests I realized that main character appearance is kinda middle ground in terms of male/female. And I kinda liked that vibe, so I probably go with it. Basically it's my personal reflections but I don't want to say anything beyond that at least for now.

Sorry that I'm kinda pushing with questions. But I really wanted to know you impressions about game title. English isn't my first language, so it's hard for me to know what associations "Openlid" evokes, maybe it's weird or something. Tell me anything that comes to mind

If you don't mind to answer, I was curious to know... Do you think the main character is a boy or a girl?

If you're interested in hard mode, I would highly recommend hacking the GPS on this difficulty, because it's actually quite challenging and fun
