Awesome idea and execution. Definitely overcomes the problem with gameplay randomness in a very elegant and creative game. Enjoyed every bit of this game. Very well done!

Damn this is one of the best entries I've played!

I really like the artstyle, sfx, gameplay, feel etc...

I guess the only downside for me is that it doesnt fit the theme that well. And I can see it being a bit frustrating for most players.
As for the fixes: sometimes coins spawn right below platforms (like touching them) and it can be really hard to get those on dice4 for example. Also I think you can chop all the red stuff into categories from easiest to hardest and give it to player randomly in that "skill curve" order (well maybe you did but for me it seems that the clock arrow is one of the harder ones and I got it multiple times as my first one).

But anyway this is a very solid entry!
I kinda would like to hear your opinion on our game. Dont want to sound annoying, you just seem to have a solid grip on game design.

yea ik its kinda difficult, but ill share some thoughts with ya .. if u dont mind ୧| ͡ᵔ ﹏ ͡ᵔ |

ik it may seem far from the theme but again the theme is about rolling the dice i didnt wanna go to some stats randomizing or mechanic, I wanted to do that in level design somehow(i just do that every jam, go crazy) and platformer as limitation did not go with a puzzle. it was challenging for me and maybe not the best for most of players not anyone will enjoy. 

the results: it was a general attitude of me to make things based on randomness (;;;・_・) so i understand if coins places are difficult or enemy is shuffled with no hardness. I myself find the clock enemy the easiest ( ̄ヘ ̄;)

but it all depends on who plays, for example the top score player said to me that the roll of 1 is his best so he can go roll through the screen and combo it ehatever the enemy. while 6 (the more block) is what they hate cuz it's safe but slow paced.

 its a jam build anyway, and leaderboard isnt there for fun, i want to see what players do, and i have some nice skill curve here but really need tweaking.

Also there's the double jump and wall jump that few just don't use. (part my fault cuz i only wrote it down in gamepage not inside the game) (◡ ω ◡)

Simple but really fun game !  It's minimalistic both in concept and art, which makes the tight platformer physics shine ! Well done !

I have found one small problem, sometimes the collectable appears right under a platform, which make is almost impossible to catch.

Yeah sometimes the coins are hard to get.. remember you're playing in a dice, it's all about randomness (¬‿¬ ) -however- this one is actually easy to get if u double jump and get wrapped from up there to below

I think I tried it but the jump didn't go high enough, but it might just have failed the execution ^^


Oh... There's a double jump, it might have been easier with that XD. I really need to read instructions more...

Yeah my bad, I didn't give much explanation inside the game itself, since I just thought, it's a platformer, u know all platformer jump and double jump, but it's my bad again, ill take care nxt time (;⌣̀_⌣́)

great idea, I haven't seen a take on the theme like this before. I think the slowdown is really well implemented, and there's a good amount of juice when picking up the coins

I had a lot of fun with this, it's very addicting - especially with the ranking as encouragement! Great work!

Pretty solid platformer. The sounds were great (if a tad loud), and movement was crisp. The only downside is that it often degraded into a falling simulator, where I was just falling past the screen over and over to try to collect the coins. I think it might've been better if there was a floor or something to force you to do a bit more of the platforming, which was the more fun part.

I tried giving a floor and walls to border the dice, but it was all easier, much easier, you can just wall jump all the way down.. and somehow i found it fun to just sync your wrapping screen to get combos if dice is low. (which lead to some master plays that u can see their scores on leaderboard (someone even got more than 600 points)

But I get what you saying, I too feel that the platformer movement is fun alone, but it's all about dice, so i thought i should go wild and see how it turns out.

I really think it's a nice game, so much I even recommended this game to a friend that is not part of a jam.

The  base gam is simple but effective. Just yeah, the multiplier is a bit too hard to achieve/too lucky then? So, a bit like a roll of the dice!

Nice little arcade experience, recommended!

Loved it! I guess I'm just a sucker for leaderboards :D 

I really don't want to be a salty guy who couldn't get higher than 8th place, but someone has to - I think the multiplier system is a bit unfair and the window for it is just too small. Sometimes even when I execute the manoeuvre perfectly, withour any obstacles and in the shortest path possible, the new dot is just too far and I lose my multiplier. Nuff said about a cube spawning in the way, or a unlucky laser placement. Which, sadly, sometimes makes it a game of luck more than a game of skill. I really believe that the window for multiplier renewal could be made just a bit longer withour a negative impact on the game. I was even considering restarting the game over and over until I get a perfect multiplier in two first rooms, but that just ruins the fun. Damn you, Mickey with your 379 points, you lucky (and undoubtedly highly skilful) bastard!

Love a lot of stuff about this game, not even going to list everything. Great job!

I'm a sucker for leaderboard too, I only made it to confirm that I suck at playing my own games and should be adding more hard shit for these players.

Yeah, it's unfair, I agree, it's DICE theme u know , all random here :3 
However, I should really work on balancing it more for post-jam.. I actually have the gameplay of the top scorer, I must say they do some epic wrap from screen that makes it possible to x6 combo!
