I just want to protect Minky ;_;

Amazing animation, especially given the time constraints. The difficulty was a tad high for me but I can see this going far. Thanks for suggesting in the stream yesterday!

Is this what my game would have looked like in 3D with the opposite objective?

The dino is so damn adorable, the controls are really slow and make the game pretty hard though, but it is great for something done in 48 hours, nice job!

very cool concept for a game with beautiful art! really clever flip on the classic evil monster trope :) excellent job :D

First off, all of the art and animation are great, I loved the dino buddy and its expressions. The concept and gameplay also really fit the theme and the juice of panic mode worked really well (Just need to add sound to make it better).

One thing I think could be improved; just barely touching a building with the tail felt a little too punishing when trying to turn, I think taking the time to try and turn slowly already works as a consequence without the tail also tumbiling down buildings.

Overall you guys did a really good job! (Also I did actually manage to beat it, although it was a bit cheesy by finding the straight path with the least amount of buildings and just purposefully ramming into them.)

This is great in every way - only felt like a bit more on the sound side could do wonders, but it was already wonderful. Love the concept of the monster trying to avoid destruction but being deeply flustered about it's inability in doing so - animations and the look on the dino are great!

Cheers and congrats on the submission!

I love the cute dinosaur, the presentation is top notch, very well done!

I like your take on the dinosaur rampaging out of control idea its a super cool flip because ya why wouldn't there be a anxious dinosaur who doesn't wanna crash into the city xD

poor goodzilla just wants to go home. fun (but hard) game!

Even though I wasn't supposed to be having panic attacks, I kept doing it 'cause it was so fun crushing the buildings lol xD Nicely done!

Reminds me a lot of a Dream (PS4) Game i once played. Don't know how you made this in 48h!

It feels funny to resemble Godzilla but you actually need to avoid buildings. I think level 3 was the hardest, it was tough to find the correct path. The game's balance felt pretty much just right although maybe a bit too much trial and error especially in level 3. Great job!

Couldn't get the game to work D:

I think its because I have a rift. If you make more unreal games I recommend turning off the VR plugins. They're turned on by default for some reason.

I liked the art. The game feels really polished. Had a lot of fun bulldozering my way through the streets! Solid game and great execution.

I liked the game, though it felt unclear as to how the player was supposed to get to the ocean. The tactic I employed felt like a trial and error combined with luck to get to the ocean. So if felt like I cheated/cheesed the game and missed something about it. (It was really difficult are first too)

I think it might have been even better if there was a strategy that the player was "supposed" to use (though it could be really hard so most players end-up breaking things anyway) so that the players can see what a "perfect" run looks like and try and fail miserably at doing such a run.

Great work!

Haha really cool concept! The graphics are awesome, my laptop din't hold up well though, was getting low FPS. good work!

I love the concept so much! The overall look of the game and Minky model and animations really are impressive for a 48h jam. Amazing level of polish you have here guys. Great job!

This was a fun take on the theme with great mechanics. Smashing things up super enjoyable! I really like how the game looks too. A nice jam entry, well done :)

Developer

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it! :D

I love the idea behind this game. On my first playthrough I smashed through everything just for the heck of it and that was really fun.

My laptop struggled to run the game, it had a low FPS. But I also don't have a super high end laptop either. Two criticisms. First, I didn't completely understand the controls at first. I knew I moved with WASD, but it took me three or four playthroughs to realize that A and D rotate the character rather than just making them move in that direction like I initially thought. The camera was good, but when I got too close to walls, it was hard to see and that was disorienting.

If you continue development, a nice quality of life feature would be the ability to change graphic settings or something like that for folks with low end PCs as well as a toggle for motion blur on and off. Aside from that, the game is really fun and the concept is super interesting. I really like it :D

Hilarious game! I liked the concept of anxious Godzilla. Graphics and animation were spot on. I found it almost too hard to control at sometimes. Really nice work!

A pretty fun game! I like the game's visual aesthetic, and like the double-whammy difficulty of "the more you destroy things, the worse your anxiety gets, which means you can have a panic attack and destroy even more by complete accident". Definitely makes avoiding buildings and large groups of cars feel like one hell of a challenge. Nice work!
