Fun game and fitting to theese times,
I love how the difficulty ramps up by just having less people wear masks.
Nothing else, just less masks.

First I thought that putting on masks was a waste of time, you could just run around and disinfet everyone without using masks,
But a few waves later I noticed it gets significantly harder if you dont give everyone a mask.

Looks awesome when during the 5 seconds spawn timer you already see how fast it spreads on the minimap, and the fewer masks the faster it spreads.

Only thing I'd like to have added, would be some sound effects and some feedback when you try to use masks while you dont have any.
Tried to put on more masks and was wondering why it didn't work only to realize I don't have any left

I'm glad you noticed all the same little nuances I was trying to add to the game!  Makes me happy :D

Would have loved to add some sfx effects if I had more time!

Weirdly quite satisfying to spray people with water! Nice!

A lot harder than I thought when I got to level 10. Great game and really fits the theme!

The game should be called Dr. Fauci Saves the World. I actually had a hard time telling apart who were the sick people. Nice game!

Fun mechanics, nice art. Maybe it didn't feel challenging enough, but anyway good job! :D Check mine as well :)

Fun! The first game I've managed to get to the end of in this jam. Would have loved some sound effects to add some impact to my actions, although for a game jam it's a well polished game.

Ya I kinda ran out of time to try and figure out some good audio settings!  Played with it for about 10 min and couldn't find a way to make it sound decent within the short time frame.  Thanks for checking it out :D

What a really fun mechanic! Sweeping mobs was very satisfying, and although I was wondering why the masking mechanic would be useful, I ended up using it quite often in the later levels!

The game saved me because I just played the game when I had a fever. But now ,I'm feeling good.

Fun and topical!

I like how the virus spread to the unmasked people, made the game stressful, but in a good way :)

Man that was fun! Setting up quarenteened zones where I was desperately trying to stop the infection getting back into & with the degrading use of masks it made for a nice climb in difficulty!

It did feel like giving masks felt kinda useless, why do that when I could be hunting the next infected area? but over all solid effort for 48 hours!

Developer

I agree!  I kinda had the same thought while playing through but didn't have quite enough time to make the appropriate tweeks :D

Thanks for checking it out!

Really fun! I felt like a more abstract graphic style would actually be better, but this was fine too

Thematically relevant, but also perhaps the more obvious idea. Mechanically speaking, it doesn't stray very far from spraying bullets for the most part, though the uphill fight against contagion was a good twist. On the whole, the package comes together for a good balance, and it feels like it is exactly what it needed to be.

I think the more intuitive control choice would be to have right click simply be use of the mask. In implementation, it could just prioritize which button was either pressed first or pressed last when both are held down. Apart from that, it controlled very smoothly.

The sick-emoticon was a cute touch, and all the visuals read well on screen, even when moving quickly. The music was fitting and gave a matching vibe as well. So nice choices there. I wish I could give a higher score for polish & production, but that's limited by the fact that they are pre-existing assets.

Solid execution. It plays well and was fun overall. Good work!

I did it. I won. COVID IS OVER (no really, everyone, wear a mask)

Really fun but could have a little bit more variation.
