Really atmospheric and creative. Playing as a piece of paper was a unique twist. The lighting and sound design built a strong sense of dread. Overall, a fun experience

You have delivered a atmospheric experience with its unique concept and immersive sound design. The visuals and music effectively build tension. Overall, it's a compelling and creative game. Well done!
Who know that playing as a piece of paper could be entertaining. Nicely done!
Animation of literal paperboy is great. I think you did a great job on the cinematics with good camera movement and foreground / background elements. There was a legit feeling of dread which is hard to achieve. I had trouble with the climbing mechanic, everything else worked smoothly. Great stuff!
Overall - Great job! I loved the terrifying enemy slowly emerging from the shadows and chasing me across the countertop! The camera angles swooping around really heightened the dramatic tension, too!
Fun - Super fun scary experience! It was a really compelling game and I want more!
Theme - Nailed the theme - I felt quite small and vulnerable as the terrifying face came for me!
Aesthetics - I think some environmental lighting to highlight the details and the important bits would be awesome. Lighting (used sparingly) is so important to a horror game and I think this game would be even MORE scary with lights placed at dramatic moments!
Music- The music was great! Really heightened the terror as the clown head came for me! The tonal shift via the use of music was stellar. Really captured the emotions well.
Sound - Same as the music, well done.
Mechanics - Pretty simple mechanics - run, jump, climb. They seemed to be mostly working for me, so I have no complaints here. Would be cool to include some kind of puzzle element related to the evil clown - something to heighten the experience and the feeling of helplessness UNTIL you discover some way to either overpower or escape.
Story - Solid story. I loved when the paper emerged from the water and had writing all over it. Really captured the essence of the story. Great job!
This is great, I Like the atmosphere. I wish you would make the enemy more aggressive (it didn't hit me at all) but that's great job you got here
This is a really unique concept and I think it has a lot of potential. I did struggle with how dark it was (brightness-wise) so I think once that is patched up a little it would massively improve it. Other than that, the art was good and it was very immersive. The story was great and I liked the themes you touched on. Well done!
Thank you so much for playing and commenting!
Yes that floating is unfortunately a feature of this version of the game. I didn't have much experience with 3D and ladders and I made a poor decision of using physics force for ladders. That is why it feels like floating. In the update this has been somewhat fixed.
I am really glad you found the animation nice :)
My favourite so far, making a working Little Nightmares-esque for a jam is insanely impressive. My only complaint is that it really needs some checkpoints.
This is a very well made game for a jam, I know you used a lot of different assets, but the atmosphere you've crafted with them is haunting and ties into the story very well.
I would say this game is more of an experience.
Thanks for the game.
I play a lot of horror games and this one had me physically jump when the bottles got knocked over. Very very good game.
Enjoyed this, loved the atmosphere. For some feedback, I didn't feel much tension in the parts where the "enemy" shows up because the only thing I had to do was hold D. Making it so there's some real and "feelable" threat would be nice, ie a puzzle to solve or things to jump over correctly, just something that makes you go "ok I have to do this right or it's gonna catch me"
