Visuals and sounds work well (except the selection tween kept spazzing out for me). Gameplay is addictive. Doesn't really match the action verb of "collaborate" with AI because you are just competing against it. Cool little card game though.

It seems the King itself don’t like taxing sometimes ahah. Really good game overall !

The game was really fun and reminded me of Carcassonne. The AI seems to place tiles completely randomly. It would be much better if it would at least follow some pattern, like it would be greedy going for the most possible taxes with one move, but not thinking ahead, or any goofy pattern, just something somewhat predictable.

Wow, this one is a ton of fun! It's so close to being insanely addicting, with a couple of key things holding it back for me. The AI placing good tiles in bad places / placing bad tiles in good places happens just a bit too frequently to the point where winning feels a tad bit overly random. It would be great if either the AI were a bit smarter, or you could make limited suggestions to him, or if you had more control / visibility into the deck of tiles to know which ones you were going to get to place vs. which ones he would get to place (e.g. if you play the grass / lawn route, you can set up a perfect cross for a lawn, and then Albert decides to stick your last lawn tile in a corner. Sad times. 

Also, really love that you can customize your playstyle with the different deck choices, but I wish that you were incentivized to mix and match between the different tile categories rather than being required to stick with the same type every time.

Nitpicks:

  • I wish you could highlight the tile on the field to see its description
  • I wish you could see what the next tile to be placed by A.I. was

(This might sound like a negative review, but this is really great, one of the best I've played for the jam so far - really great work!)

Bro this is a genius idea. It is simple to make, it fits the theme very well and most importantly it is hella fun. I couldn't get past more than 4 level but it was fun to try over and over. This can even be turned into a nice board game

Great work! When new tiles are first introduced if the king placed them I didn't get a chance to see what they did/ maybe a way to look through the deck or otherwise see effects. Good job all around though!

I found this game super hard to play. I couldn't make it past the second level. I felt it was a bit too random, more "praying the AI doesn't lose the game" than "collaborating with the AI"

It was fun tho! A strong and unique concept, pleasant SFX, catchy music, and a great game feel.

Needed some more help on what each tile does; maybe a functionality or a button to explain what each tile does, like Hearthstone in Arena mode does, where, when picking cards, it shows the text and attributes of those cards.

It's a very solid game, with a hard to play with AI.

Nice game! Its fun! I think that if the tax check would happen when you fill it completely it would feel a bit more fair to the player. But that's only my opinion

Super cool idea to make a collaborate board game! I just wish that the king with strategize better. Also, it'd be helpful to give a better indicator to what each tile does when we mouse over it, so that if the king uses a tile that we haven't seen yet, we know how it works. Also, it'd be helpful if we could see all the current tiles that we can potentially pull from the "deck" so to speak.
