Nice game with unique levels, Second level reminded me of tower of hanoi. I hated third level as it was pure luck and no skill, any of them could be trap. Maybe there was a pattern that I couldn't see but it was most frustrating. It kind of ruined the fun for me, otherwise nice game, I loved remaining levels especially the second.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback! There was a visual cue in the third level but in retrospect, I think I hid it too well for the jam.

Presentation is pretty nice. The sound fidelity is pretty good. I found the music loop to get tiring pretty quickly. Would have been nice to have some more subtle music. I think the amount of text in the game could be off-putting to a lot of people. It would be nice to have more game-integrated visual guidance for how to solve the puzzles. If you skip the text you kind of have no clue what's going on aside from opening up the menu to look at more text in the hints.
The movement controller would benefit a lot from having some aerial drag you you don't move laterally as quickly when you're in the air. The movement sensitivity for air time feels too high.
Nice start.

Thanks for playing and the great feedback! Many of the elements got away from me and it definitely has less of a game jam feel then I intended.

Stunning work for the amount of time you had! Well done, you should further develop this, it has so much potential!

Developer

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed!

A fun game idea, quite challenging though! I love the dialogue exchanges between the characters, gives them allot of personality :)

Nice concept and great art!

Loved the interactions between Archie and Grengald <3

Nice art! Really liked how it all looked. A little more tweaking the controls would make it a bit better on the controls side. It was challenging but had fun!

Definitely fun, a good challenge. Kinda rage quit on 4 lol. I did try all the other levels, great idea behind the game and loved Archie, snarky raccoon personality.  Great idea and concept.

Developer

Thanks for playing! The skill-based platforming definitely ended up more difficult than I intended, but I'm glad you liked Archie!

I really like the concept and the individual games (though I couldn’t beat 4 no matter how hard I tried). I accidentally quit after 4 and didn’t end up playing 5. I feel like there’s something off with the platforming controls - he slid around a bit too much after landing. Great job with the games!

Also, I found your secret!

Developer

Thank you!! I definitely wish I had time to revisit the player controls, but that's the way it goes sometimes! Glad someone found it :P

Nice game! Very smooth. I also like that each level feels different from another.

Can't believe the level design in such a short amount of time, great work!

Man thats soo cool i invested a lot of time in it and is the first game i spend a lot of time in itbu and finishing it. but it doesn't fit the theme. or at least that my opinion. Good job

Developer

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! I took a really abstract look with the narrative elements and trying to use npcs in the levels to complete tasks, but I agree the final product ended up further away from the theme than I intended.

The premise was pretty funny!

I liked it! But I think the character is too slidy and a bit too much text

Developer

Thanks for playing, I wish I had gone back and cleaned up the character controller, but alas :P
