i like the idea! i wish I could heal tho

I like the idea a lot. Though I found myself running out of crystals as I ran away from the zombies. Also sounds would be nice, even if it didnt make sense because you are in space. Sounds are just nice to have

I really like the way the player and the AI level each other up - as well as being an interesting mechanic it also felt very true to the theme! The game was cool, perhaps the zombies spawned a little overwhelmingly fast but I really enjoyed it.

Definitely a relatively collaborative experience with the fact that you have to focus on aiming the opposite of the enemies.  While also trying to mine, which could be sort of intense at times.  Also the fact that you can't control your own upgrades and you don't get your own experience.  Was an interesting twist for sure.

The enemies weren't that dangerous though I will say, at least if you kite them.  Since they don't have any range or any variety in their attacks to make them more difficult to dodge.

Though that would work some what, the problem is there's also not that much variety to the gameplay on top of that.  It's mainly just running around hoping for crystals to upgrade the AI, so that it can auto aim some more with some.. somewhat interesting upgrades.  But mostly it seems to just be that they add in the possibility to shoot a random other bullet.  Which was unfortunate.

I would've rathered if it was switching the entire weapon to somethings else to add a bit more variety to the gameplay depending on the weapon you choose.l  Like say, stuck with a sniper, then you have to try and get to range, or deal with the slow fire rate, but every enemy dies in one hit.  Or bomb, you have to sort of roll it into the group since it's like a grenade and it isn't super sure where it'll actually go off, but it'll take out a group etc.

Also the fact that the AI picks your upgrades but there's not that much feedback on what they did pick, is a little annoying.  It seemed like maybe they were doing something, but the only indication I had was the commentary from the AI that I was sometimes able to see in the midst of all the either red zombie not zombie things.

Which I mean, they were decent lines and they add some character, but they don't make it super clear that anything has happened, and I never really felt like anything had changed significantly on either side.  Which sort of made the upgrades feel more like a chore rather than a actual buff to do.

Not sure if that's just how much they upgrade, or the fact that there's no real juice behind them or what.  It's just something I sort of felt when playing the game.

Overall though, an interesting executed idea with a somewhat cool leveling mechanic where it's shared.  Plus a bit of an empty level, which to be fair  makes a bit of sense, but it's not the best of finding your way around or finding resources.  I'd be interested to see more variety in the upgrades different playstyles though for sure.

Great job the idea is super creative the ai cursor is a nice feature the ai upgrade picking could be expanded very nice also the slow un-tinting of the moon is a cool feature. Great job.

Well done! I got mobbed a lot by the zombies though!

I see some parallels to the game Vampire Survivors and i love it. The spin animation from the pickaxe is a nice little detail wich really polished the game. That the exp from the mobs level the player and the player level the AI by mining is a cool way to underline the collaboration between the AI and the human. Nice work ^^

Cool game! Was fun playing it!

Our games are very similar, I really like the direction you went with your game :) I wish we had the ability to choose between whether the mining was the AI/human or the shooting was AI/human! I loved your work!! I would love some feedback on my take of a rouglite shooter!

I like this game because it fits the theme pretty well and is fun. It is pretty simple but one important factor of something being simple is to not have it too hard right of the bat. For me this game was challenging in the first seconds of playing. Overall nice game, Some more balancing could be nice :)

The back and forth between the ai and the human was a cool addition, the fact that it is our arm makes it cooler.

Gameplay wise needs balancing, which is hard to do in a time limit. Also, the ores are hard to find on many occasions.

Overall great game, great concept, great execution.

I love the idea of the game but I really didn't like the wall of text that was the how-to-play section. I think it's better if you avoid giant walls of text.

cool

A simple premise with solid execution (and AI banter) is bound to be a fun time. I like the concept of slowly chipping away at this massive crowd of zombies, though I wish progression picked up a little faster. It's a very slow-burn power fantasy, haha. Still had a blast, and great job! P.S. the zombie arm animations are awesome

I loved this game! Really good concept and execution. It needs a bit of balancing (I just couldn't find any more ores to mine after a while) but overall feels really great! Definitely worth expanding post-jam!

Dude this is the game that I played for the longest time in the whole jam, it's very addictive and I really like that you have to aim in "the opposite direction" and reach the cristals from the right angle. I died at 30% bbecause I was too greedy and tried to much to push enemies with the pike! :D Imagine if you could add a couple of enemy and weapon, it would be super!

Developer

Wow, this is probably the best compliment that I've gotten about this game - thanks! I'm glad that you found out you can push enemies since it's not really mentioned anywhere in the game, and 30% is incredible considering how slow the progress is. I'm not sure exactly what, but I'll definitely do something to this game post-jam. I'm glad that you played :]

Great execution, Fun game !

Nice little game, I let myself died at 10% because it's hard to know what direction to go. A minimap or even an arrow to know where to mine would help.
