Who needs Doom, incredible gameplay and the 2D art is incredible, did you make all the art assets yourself??

Very interesting take on the theme, perfectly fitting it
The game part itself is really well made and has a every interesting style !
I guess the only thing missing was to start with a pre-trained network to already have a "smart" behavior and then see it getting better, because unfortunately all I saw was randomness getting a little bit less random before I lose..
But really well done for achieving such a good result and that short time :)

Interesting concept. I would be glad if the AI started at least a bit less dumb (most of the time it just kept shooting into the sky).

Really unique art style, not sure where my teamate was all the time :D. I liked the sound design.

Yeah, the AI starts as a clean slate, the more you play more data it has to train, so in the beginning it is useless

most of the hard work on graphics and procedural levels i reused from an earlier game, I focused on getting the neural networks mechanics working to fit the theme. I also wanted to redesign other parts, but didn't had the time...

Good Game. But the combination of ear-splitting music, 2.5d boomer graphics, and fps monster-shooter perspective kind of turned it into a horror game. No offense.

My ears were kinda destroyed and when I started the game I immediately started backing up because I couldn't aim in a normal way.

Shooters aren't my type of game anyways.
