The only submission in the jam that I played with almost uncringy writing, on-point audio and visuals to match atmosphere and no noticeable bugs. Not much more to say, it did win the jam for a reason (though not sure what about it was "unexpected"...) https://twitter.com/smushyarm/status/1307597024481730561

The most unexpected game I've played so far!! Don't want to say too much to spoil it for anyone but this totally normal game was really well made and perfectly disguised :D

I finish it and I love it =)

AWESOME! That’s all I can say. This is the first game to get all 5/5 from me.

I absolutely love the music, the graphics, and all the twists. Fantastic job!

love this game. i have tried to make my own version of act two before and you pulled it of waaaaay better than i did.

The undertale reference is the best part! It was laughing at many points because it was really unexpected. It's a really polished and well made game overall.

Awesome, truly unexpected! A few suggestions:

  1. The text (in the section with a square boss) gets resized dynamically if it doesn’t fit into the screen. Doesn’t look great when the text appears letter by letter.
  2. View rotation in the labyrinth arcade is painfully slow.

Overall, great job!

Hey lisyarus, thanks for playing! I will update the game based on your suggestions.

This one really got me!

Super cool idea. Without spoiling, I loved the ones you had time to add and would love to see more.
The art and musics were also on point.

Good job!

Awesome entry! The visuals were absolutely on point and I've loved the gameplay changes. I was completely caught by surprise by... well, everything. Won't spoil it lol

What a rollercoaster! Loved the different game modes, and the unexpected was.....unexpected. Dang I can't even give a meaningful enough review without spoiling it. But I'd say this is the finest of Danial's works.

I don't want to spoil things for future players, but all my homies hate Daniel. Fellas, this game actually blew me away. The amount that you managed to put in without detracting from the overall quality is seriously impressive. I especially liked the first transition, it really set the mood and made way for some hyper unexpectedness. Also - could I get an mp3 of the first part of the game? That was a banger for sure.

Thanks for playing! Yes, you can use the song, I will link a download page soon in the game page. Just remember to credit Joseph Quested, by mentioning his name in the description of a game, video or wherever you're gonna publicly use it.
