Awesome! Best strategy ;-)

Great job!

I figured as much haha XD Glad to have helped!

Woohoo! Congrats on the release! You made a cool minimalist twin-stick shooter that I’m sure a lot of people will enjoy. Sorry you didn’t get as much feedback as you’d hoped. Your dedication to the game throughout these 4 years is very admirable!

Very nice little arcade game, great job! I love that every ghost has a small story behind them that can be inferred. My only difficulty was navigating the menu until I read the description (I tried navigating with arrows and pressing Enter and Space). Perhaps you should add alternative keybindings and put controls in-game. Or at least put them higher in the description :-)

Very charming and relaxing space game!

So beautiful and relaxing. Great job!

You’re right haha, they’re a bit tricky to reach sometimes. Switching to first person view can help. Still, you collected a lot, great job!

What a heartwarming game! ^^

Thanks so much for making it!

Neat little runner! Actually quite addictive! I really like that it requires quite a bit of strategizing - watching out for openings on the platforms below in order to plan for the next move. Very cute art style! Love the occasional ducks :-D

Wow, this is so addictive! Congrats on the well-deserved win!

I literally couldn’t stop playing. But the game had other plans and crashed after about 20 minutes, haha. I tried opening the console but accidentally refreshed the page, arghhh, so annoying. At least I managed to grab a screenshot of the exact moment the game froze (and the progress I made)! :-)

Not sure if it’s helpful but I was playing on Firefox 142.0.1 (Arch Linux) and the logs said something about unexisting ID (for the quick second I was able to see them).

Wow, such a cool aesthetic! Love the pixelated style and the RGB split/scanline effects, which, aside from being visually pleasing, serve a very practical purpose - hinting when the guard is nearby. Well thought out!

I only wish the cracks would get bigger the more you hit the floor, as on the 3rd go I started to question if the hammer was doing anything. Maybe it’s fitting though, given that it’s pocket-sized :-D

Thanks!

I love straightforward games like this! The pixel art and decorations are very well-made. Also very good choice of the music track!

I know how tough it is to race against time in short jams like this, but you did very well!

I attempted to speedrun your game too :-)

Thanks so much! Totally agree with you. I love games where you can easily figure out everything on your own!

IKR these guys are so cute! Thank you so much for such a sweet comment! Great idea about the timer!

BTW you played the post-jam update (which added the fire guys), but the original jam version is still available in the downloads. Just wanted to make that clear, in case it might affect your rating. :-)

Oohhh I love doing that hahaha!

This is a really calm game! You nailed the cave atmosphere with narrow paths, lack of light, and dripping sounds. The colors and the pixelated style is eye-pleasing. The echolocation mechanic is kind of cool once you get the hang of it. Very relaxing game overall, as long as you keep your distance from the snakes!

One small complaint - utilizing the Ctrl key in the web build might not be the best idea, given how easy it is to press it while simultaneously going forward with W haha. It’s not a big deal since you can easily raise/lower with mouse instead, but I once closed the game tab accidentally. XD

I ate 15 butterflies in total, couldn’t find any more. :-)

Fun fast-paced gameplay! The ore collection idea is simple but effective! I like the risk/reward element associated with mining valuable ores that are adjacent to lava.

I wish the game was a bit bigger or scaled with the browser zoom level, it was a bit too tiny for me to the point I had to strain my eyes a little.

BTW the score doesn’t appear to be entirely synced, did I get 618 or 639 points? :-)

Thank you!

Thank you so much for playing the game and reading the devlog! I was a bit bummed, but it was fun making this game regardless. And hey, I still got to submit it to Mini Jam (arguably my favorite of the two)!

Haha I completely get you, I’ve been through a few game jam all-nighters myself. I hope you got the needed rest afterwards! :-)

Thanks so much for playing my game and for giving such detailed feedback! Completely agree with you about scaling and it’s something I will consider if I work on this game more. The fact that everyone (me included) shares equal hatred towards the frog makes me so content for some reason hahaha.

OMG the pixel art is SOOOOO beautiful! And what a cool and an original concept! I love the pocket dimension combat, so chaotic and fun! Even though I just kept spamming the mouse button most of the time hahahaha.

I wish this was a full-blown game with a story campaign. This also would make a great rogue-like or Metroidvania. I’m not kidding, it’s so fun playing it that I got late for dinner. :-D

Hey, that’s a nice idea! I should try it and see how it affects the gameplay. Thank you!

Yes, the enemies get overly enthusiastic at the end haha. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I totally agree, the game currently lacks a proper end goal. It would be nice to have at least some sort of score tracking.

Hey fellow Godot dev! Pretty cool retro-inspired shooter!

I enjoyed the cute dust bunnies, the effect the muzzle flash has on the dark environment, and pleasantly unexpected physics puzzles. It even has a cutscene wow!

For me, the only things missing are a fullscreen mode as well as a mouse sensitivity configuration, as it felt a bit too sensitive to me.

I also wish it was longer haha, but you already did a great job given the limited jam time!

Wow, such a cute and relatable game!

When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade I once hid an item (a coin or something) in a side of a building on a street, and was so happy to still find it there later that day. :-)

Also veeery very good use of the limitation!

I replayed 5-6 times to try to figure out how to get 30K points but no luck haha.

Thanks! The game definitely could use more content!

Thanks for giving my game a try! I tried designing the difficulty scaling so there are few enemies at first… until suddenly there aren’t. :-D But it still might need some tweaking.

Thanks so much for playing! Those frogs are indeed very sneaky haha. Agree with you about needing more cues when the home is taking damage. :-)

Hahaha those sneaky crabs, am I right? What do we pay the wizards for?!

Fully agree with you about the circle!

Thanks so much for playing and for such a nice comment ^^

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I couldn’t solve the getting stuck problem entirely haha. Need to give it another look.

Such a cute platformer! The pixel art is so nice, I can’t stop looking at all the colorful gems. The minecart mechanic is pretty original.

That being said, the game is really hard haha. I feel like the character is moving too fast, making high-precision jumps over spikes very challenging. But maybe it just takes getting used to.

Brilliant little game! Very satisfying. Love the sound that humans make while being picked up haha :-D

Awesome! Thanks for the container indicators!

Yay, congrats on the Steam early access launch! I know that promotion can be hard, but I’m sure that your game will get the recognition it deserves. Steam Deck players will probably love it!

Job anxiety simulator. :-D

I think this game showcases some of the things that are wrong with the current work culture, and that it’s OK to be honest and slow down sometimes.

Truly fantastic game and message! I hope you didn’t have to grind as hard as in the game to finish it in time, and that you were frequently taking the deserved breaks. Cheers! :-)
