Your submission is very well done. The are is quite impressive for this amount of time. There were definetly some unexpected events.
Enjoyed my time with your game. Great job!
Impressively well executed tribute, focussing on the most meme-y aspects of the 2D LoZ games and reproducing them successfully. Also quite funny actually, safe for the final "twist" - could've probably found something better there. Pleasant, short but complete experience. https://twitter.com/smushyarm/status/1307597024481730561
Thank you ! And yes the final twist was made at the last minute, so we didn't make an incredible thing x)
I got beaten by an angry mother and a chicken. Absolutely fantastic game. :-P
I actually didn’t know you could carry the chicken! I just made it follow me to the pit after hitting it.
At the begining, we wanted to have the possibility to carry everything, but we didn't have the time to put every interaction / discussion as consequences of carry action. So we put it only on few entities. Like the hen =)
very well made and polished well done
Thank you!
Totally worth the time to play. Ty.
Thank you so much !
This was very well done! The art is great, especially on Bonk, the game is funny, the gameplay is nice and definitely unexpected, I only felt that it could be an actual full game, could probably sell it even! I would definitely play a full Zelda parody/satire.
Overall congrats, really cool and well finished game!
Thank you for your feedback! Maybe we will make an entire game after the end of the vote if we think that we have enough ideas to make a cool a funny full game!
This was one of my favorite games of this Game Jam 4.8/5.
Thank you so much for your feedback!
I got more of a "WHAT IS THIS?" kind of experience from this game. The game is definitely weird, but there's a lot to discover. I got killed by the Hen somehow, but the Hen's lasers were pointing to the wrong direction? I don't know. The visuals do be lookin' kinda cute, though speaking about the UI, I wish there was a transition for the inventory screen too. Nonetheless, its a good game overall.
Ahah, Thank you for your feed back !
For the hen : the children take care of the hen, so if they all die. The hen will kill you. The right solution is to carry the hen to the burrow.
For the UI : We had some ideas for UI, but we prefered to finish the game and have a complete gameplay. That's why there is no transition and no background in our inventory screen.
If you want the solution there is a walkthrough here : https://pastebin.com/raw/rDpjaGRT
Well polished, fun, looks and sounds great!
Thank you for your feed back !
Delightfully weird. I like the importance of a hat or a hat-like object. Took me a second to figure out the hen-hole thing and I felt dumb when it took me so long. I wanted to bring the hen with me afterwards and it ended up being my downfall.
Ahah, thank you for your feedback!
NIce But I caught an exploit, Since you use scenemanager to load a new scene for every room the vases respawn witch means free slimeballs!!!!
We don't use scenemanager to load a new scene for every room =) (we have only one scene), all our entities can be "respawnable". As exemple when children die, they never respawn. So we decide to make the pots, grass and few other things, "respawnable" because we wanted to have this functionnality like in the real Zelda.
But we didn't want to put a "farming moment" in our game, so everything has high chance to drop lot of money compared to a classic zelda. That's why you can buy ONE pot to the old man for 300 bubbies, because we know that it's easy to get lot of money in our game.
In fact if you know everything in our game, you can go to the Banondorf room without having the Hat or the Flute.
Anyway, thank you for your feedback !
Great game, definitely unexpected! Unfortunately I couldn't kill the creature or even the chicken, I tried for ages but I gave up cause they felt invincible, am I missing something? I had the flute
Thank you for your feedback !
If you are stuck, there is a walkthrough on our game page :
https://pastebin.com/raw/rDpjaGRT
If you don't want to be spoiled, here the part of the solution that you need :
"Child 1 said, "Be careful, a terrible monster sleeps in this hole ! Only another terrible creature could face it !" The chicken is the only creature on the map at this moment, so the answer is to carry the chicken to the monster.
Thank you! I didn't realize you could pick up the chicken! I finished the game now!

Thank you very much for playing our game and giving us such a detailed feedback!
While watching the replay on your twitch, I noticed that you didn't try to hit the villagers, some of them may get hit and act accordingly!
We had lot of fun by making this game, and I hope it was felt in the game!
Simple premise, yet super fun! Love all the art assets and the "Cocette" bit especially!
Thank you for your feed back ! The hen was a must have in this game so we worked a lot on it !
Great! Btw, Belda was the last game I played in my first YT sesh! Feel free to check it out!
So nice! Nothing is missing, 5 stars for everything! I didn't finish it yet, I will totally come back!
Wow, thank you so much !
The art was cute and the entire adventure gives a funny vibe. :D
You've done a great job with this!
We did our best to make it fun ! Thank you for your feed back !
I was really hoping to find the hat in that trash can, but alas just a bottle of vodka. Everyone in this town is an alcoholic.
This is all hilarious. Makes me want to play a full Zelda game as ridiculous as this.
Ahah, maybe we will do it if we have lot of funny ideas =D
Thank you for your feed back !
Loved this game. I'm a huge old school Zelda fan and you managed to change it up enough to make it feel like something different but keep that charm. I'll admit I didn't get very far but it seems really well polished and plays very well. I really enjoyed it and I'll be going back to see what I can do differently
Thank you for your kind feedback!
Is this a Legend of a Hobo or something? Brilliant idea, I didn't get far, I only manager to get the flute, but had fun nonetheless.
Thank you! If you later want to try it again, there is a link to a simple walkthrough on the main page of the game
Hey, I tried your game yesterday, it was fun. Broke aproximately 100 pots.
Thank you ! But... Wait, MAYBE WE SHOULD RENAME IT BY "POT BREAKER SIMULATOR"!!!
By the way, you can also cut grass and hit the hen (and some NPCs)
Anyway, thank you for trying our game, and thank for the feed back!
