Congratulations! That is a super major milestone, keep up the great work!!

Hahaha! I had it ready to go, I couldn't pass it up!

This is really fun, good job!

I really like the simplicity of this, I would love to see more or explore this world!

This looks like it would make a fun racing game!

Wow, what a cool style! I love the dithered shading technique and the strong outlines, it works really well!

The colours match the feeling of this really well, would make a good poster!

This has such a unique and powerful angle of perspective, really good job!

Haha yes! I had a little extra time at the end for the cover, I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you! Looking at it now, it is a bit eclectic, but I'm glad it still stands up

This is really cool! It feels like a real game, clear and simple, but to an artistic end, great job!

Really great work, I love the terrain!

Very fun and a nice message, well done!

This is really cool! Really really nice use of the colours, they fit the feeling perfectly

Wow! This is fantastic! Love the little character and the world you created here!

This is really cute, my bedroom ceiling as a kid looked something like this!

I always love a car! Well done!

Really cool perspective and I love the unique framing!

Really strong shape, colour and concept, really good job!

Great use of the colours! This looks like it could be a fun game if it were real!

Absolutely fantastic use of your chosen colours, beautiful!

Very surreal, very cool!!

I love that this looks hand sketched, but is also clearly being very smart about how tiles are used and optimised!

Really cool, I love the story telling!!

Thank you!!

This was such a beautiful game, I'm sorry I missed it during the voting period!

Not a problem, I should get updates if you post any and I'll be sure to jump in and do it again!

Definitely! The path it is on is already fantastic, I'd let the designers take it where they want to take it, but just be aware of the small mechanical aspects that affect player experience. I'd love to play and test it again and again if it does continue development!

I love games like this, great work! (I spent some time reconstructing Mark's face)

Beautiful game, great execution! Fabulous work!

Absolutely fantastic puzzle game, beautiful work!!

I posted this on your submission page, but thought the comments section needed some love too -

I saw the car and I instantly clicked on this! Straight away the quality of this game is so high. Loading it up, I instantly got hit with a wave of nostalgia from those old penny racer games on PS2, I absolutely loved Road Trip Adventure as a kid - the music in the garage sounds like that game so much! The premise and style of your game is amazing, the way it is presented to the player is perfect, it was really fun learning the controls.

Despite that I have some feedback for you to improve the game with, I really hope you take this further and make some more levels. This game is awesome!!

Feedback: Not enough control of steering at high speeds, it feels like a punishment for trying to go fast. The car slows down to a stop too fast, like too much rolling resistance, it feels like a punishment for going slow and I have to keep pulling back in small increments to get around new and small areas. Not enough steering control at low speeds, I keep having to stop to go around tight corners (later learnt the hop to turn in place but didn’t really help too much). Braking doesn’t pause the power bar, I don’t have much control over the power delivery. Level design (platforming) wasn't very forgiving at the very very start (the first ramp with the fall behind it) but it was still difficult further on in the game, for example the vertical pad jump and the sofa sideways ramp.

I also encountered a bug where I was able to jump through the window and out of the level.

In conclusion, I absolutely love this game and hope my feedback can help in some way. The art direction and theme is immaculate, congratulations and good luck going forward!

That's still really good! It is interesting we generally know the aspect ratio of famous paintings but have no idea how big or small they really are!
Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you enjoy my work!

Thank you so much!!

You can also find the game on Nintendo Switch, it has a free demo there too!

The game was in development for years and had a discussion board style community section to discuss changes and features, but when I changed it to this classic comment section that was all lost unfortunately.

Thank you for the feedback, I'm hoping to do this in Take It Racing 3!

Thank you for the interest! I've stepped away from this project for now, so it isn't at the top of my list. So please don't hold your breath! My plan is to take this theme, feeling and genre and revive it in a different full game.
