Anything you want to say to players before they play?
Hold CTRL to slow time and I recommend play the training mode first because the enemies dont shoot you, when you be ready go to normal mode, is VERY HARD

Extremely strong first impression thanks to polished visuals, audio and a TRON-inspired main menu. Gameplay very satisfying initially but the ineffectiveness of non-headshot hits and resulting bullet-time pixel hunting syphoned a lot of the potential fun out of it for me. https://twitter.com/smushyarm/status/1307597024481730561

Hii, thanks for the feedback. I have an updated version with some fixes you mentioned, still thinking if I continue the project or not at this moment. Thanks for playing 😁

I feel like I'd play this more if it had more levels. There's something about bursting those guy's heads from far away.

Developer

Hi, thanks for playing. There's actually more level and a submachine gun, but I felt wasn't stable enough to put on the game just yet. Thanks for your feedback 😁

I think I did it pretty good.

Wow, what an amazing game done in so little time.

The graphics are awesome and it is very responsive (I played at my 21:9 monitor and adapted smoothly). The particle effects and lighting are very good. The audio is fine. The gameplay is pretty much slowing time, aiming and shooting (but still it was fun), The UI is responsive and the score system adds repetition to make you want to play again and get better.

Overall, very pretty game, very smooth and very fun!

Developer

Oh cool, glad worked well and soo glad you enjoyed and spent time writing the feedback, means a lot. You are good, way better than my personal record hahaha

To say the least, I didn't expect to play as a literal vaporwave hand even when I saw the screenshots. Lo and behold that it turns out that I'm not dreaming. Or realizing that a laser shark would be my worst enemy second only to my shaky hands.

Looking at the screenshots, I wouldn't have guessed there would be a bullet-time mechanic at all. I'm pleasantly surprised by the mechanic. I also figured out you could reload and then enter bullet-time a bit too late. I'm unsure if it was intended or not. Regardless, it helped me get a better ranking than I originally did because it gives you just enough time to dodge shots in plain sight if timed correctly. I started with a C-Rank and gradually raised what I could in a few runs. The training mode was pretty neat to get a layout of the level. If you did choose to expand upon it, I would suggest a choice between a shooting range and the normal stage as training. It was still a cool feature considering tutorials and training usually brush people's minds when initially playing a one-off title such as this.

The game was definitely fun and provided me with a challenge. I again loved the implementation of bullet-time. It's not Red Dead, but I'll take what I can get. I enjoyed the different enemy types. At first glance, I thought they were just reskins. I am happy to say that they were more than just a copy/paste enemy type. Not to mention the rat which you had the option of sparing. One possible bug I noticed was that if you keep walking into a wall after jumping, you will stay on that spot until you stop trying to move against the wall. Not game breaking, just a feature.

The visuals were rather great. Not all games can pull off the vaporwave aesthetic, but yours did. There few people that think you can slap it on something and it will immediately look good. If you planned on fleshing out the visuals at any point in time, maybe you could add hand/gun skins, or simply allowing players to adjust the color values as they please. The Dev pulled the theme off rather well.

The music wasn't to my fancy, but the shooting and reload sound effects were on point. Not much else to really say here. You kept it simple (which isn't always a bad thing).

Overall, I'm glad that the Dev reached out to me about the game. Glad I tried it out. :  )

Developer

That is a very good good feedback, I'm taking notes of everything you said and I agree with pretty much everything. I'm glad you played and replayed, this means a lot. Keep the game simple yet fun was a challenge, I could have done more levels or bigger levels or more enemies but I wanted one short level you can beat in less than 2 minutes, only if you played enough, after reading your feedback I reckon I did the right thing. I'm glad you liked the slow motion, I add that pretty much by mistake and I thought was good enough to keep. Thank you so much for playing and for spending time writing this, this means a lot. 😊

A really cool game! Bullet time mode was a perfect addition to this one - coupled with the text effects it had me feelin' pretty badass in there with headshots. The game looked great as well, there was a charm to shooting the elevator buttons and the music was a nice touch. The mouse wasn't quite as responsive as I'm used to in shooters, and it was a little awkward with the hand catching on walls and bodies (I think that was pronounced due to the camera offset). Overall, it's a great entry and I enjoyed it.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and writing this feedback, means a lot. I'm glad you enjoyed. 😁

Oh man the enemies are too good at aiming and i am too bad. Great feel and movement. its was a little hardcore for me, but liked so much.

Developer(+1)

Hy, thank you so much. The intention is to be hardcore, I knew it could be bit divisive. I appreciate you like it 😊

Very cool game. It's funny how a change  of size of the main character can change the useful geometry of  the level.  Also  you made  me  remember  how much I liked the original  Max Payne.

Also you should make a stealth level where the gun is taken away from  you and you choke enemies  to death  facehugger-style or  jump  and  stab  them  like  Norman Bates is Psycho!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback, and yes, the stealth idea is on paper, changing guns or removing could work well on this game. I'm glad you enjoyed

This is one of those games where I the moment I start playing it I get the vibe of "fuck yeah, this is a good game". The mechanics felt super solid, I was super surprised to be the hand which was a super unexpected take on the normal first person genre. I really hope you decide to build more on this game because I would love to play it.

Developer

I'm so glad you enjoyed and feedbacks like that helps so much for me to continue this project. Was very hard to put everything together but it is paying off. Thank you so much β™₯️

Really cool game. Only thing I didn't like is how my hand ended up in to many crotches. after i shot them DEAD! (Well mostly in training becaue I am trying to play this on  s crappy work computer and it's choppy  as all but not your fault) .. Also like the "juice" . Took very simple models and graphics and managed to make it unique (Nice lighting)  .. Upset though about the lack of spoiler warnings in the comments - haha - You all ruined the SHARK surprise! haha.. Super fun time with this and cool last name ..Francisco Ramos here!

Developer

Haha we might be cousins. Thank you so much for your feedback. I put lots of effort in game feel for this project and I'm so happy people are pointing out that. I wanted everyone to have fun trying my little weird character on this weird set up. About the shark, couldn't hide that for longer =(

I don't even know where to start. I fired this up to stream, started playing and got so hooked it took me 20 minutes to realize I wasn't broadcasting audio. This game is super addicting and extremely fun. The controls are tight and the combat flows really well. I can't say enough how impressive this is for a game jam much less for one person. Awesome job. Keep it up

Developer

Oh man, thank you so much for playing and for your feedback, it means a lot and help to keep up with the project. I spent so much time to give to the player the best character and animations I could produce in little time. I'm so happy people are genuinely enjoying, gonna do my best to continue 😊

Brilliantly stylish and engaging game. I thought the particle effects were really excellent, it all just felt very satisfying indeed. I thought the core mechanic of slow-mo shooting, running and gunning was really well fleshed out, to the point where I found even the tutourial very fun. Super solid, good stuff :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed and mostly I glad you felt satisfied, I focused so much on make this as juicy and good to play as possible with the little time I had 😊

Submitted(+1)

Incredible! This is so far the most impressive game in the jam.

Developer

Oh thank you so much, was lots of working on it, I really appreciate and glad you enjoyed 😊

Love the visuals and all the nuances in the feedbacks! Keep up the good work there!

Developer

Thank you so much, I really appreciate 😁

The hand animations in this are top notch. Love all the little details like resting the gun on the ground, or slamming it on the ground to reload. The neon vaporwave style definitely fits the whole theme, and overall jumping and dashing all felt super juicy to play. Had a blast with this!

Developer(+1)

Hi thanks, I appreciate that, was hard work and I spent a lot of time polishing. Feels good when someone notice 😊

so good!

Developer

Thanks =D I appreciate that

Submitted(+1)

Man, the polish is real. I'm surprised at what people can do in such a short amount of time.

Developer

Thanks dude, i appreciate that, was hard work to make =)

Ohhhh man is this good. Synthwave visuals, and best use of the theme I've seen so far. Playing this first-person first-hand shooter, uh, first hand it is a first-rate fun experience. Boss is sooo hard

Developer(+1)

Hii, thank you very much for your feedback, I'm very glad you liked. I worked so hard to make something compelling to play and feedbacks like this is very motivating. 😁

Submitted(+1)

The music, sound and visuals is all really good. The gameplay idea is simple and fun, and the game is hard but still pretty fun to play. For me the game could have pushed the unexpected part a bit more. Overall a good jam game. Well done.

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed 😊
