Fun little platformer. Jumping feels a little "slow" if that makes sense, and the enemies take quite some time to kill. Also the music had a couple notes in it that were too high pitched for my sensitive ears haha! But overall good job!

Nice game! I found it very engaging, if not slightly rage inducing haha. It feels very difficult, but not to the point of feeling incomplete or bad. I would make it a bit clearer that you can shoot, because I spent a lot of time trying to jump over the spiders at the start without realising you could shoot with left click! Maybe an integrated tutorial of some sort would be good. Overall, good job!

Pretty solid game. I agree with most of what others have said before me. I just want to point out that the spikes shoud have a smaller hitbox, it's very punishing when you're landing on a spring that's too close to some spikes.

I think it's a little to punishing when it resets you back to the start of the game, feels like it defeats the purpose of the checkpoints. Also, having a little more feedback when you die - having a second or two to process how you died, and having a clear respawn timer would both be really nice.
Also, having some feedback on enemies getting hit would be great. It wasn't clear to me at first that the moonknives were damaging the spiders, I thought maybe I just had to jump /around/ then, since there was no indication that the knives were actually damaging them.

Overall, though, I enjoyed playing your game. Great job!

Took me a small while to understand i could shoot ahah. Though the game was just super tough.

umm i liked how you have to shoot you way trough obstacles to progress.
Also i think there's alot of diversity in your obstacles/enemies. That's cool^^

Umm my feedback would be to just add infinite lives to compliment the checkpoint system. :)

I iked the game. Still things to tweak though. Like others mentioned movement  and physics need some work and I was lacking some indicator that the knives do damage. Because the enemies needed quite a few hits I  figured they didn't hurt them during the first run. Made me try four weaponless runs before I tried again with more hits.

I also didn't like the mouse to throw the knives. I can't aim with them so using another key on the keyboard would have felt more natural for me

I liked your game, but I think it needs some improvement

Like everyone else mentioned the physics requires a bit of work mainly how short the jump is and how much you can move while you are airborne

I don’t think fighting the enemies was engaging enough, the enemies didn’t present the player with unique choices there’s nearly no choice at all to make, maybe make the spiders swing when hit that can change so much of the combat

Also, I got stuck where there’s this fly enemy (shown in the 2nd and 4th screenshot), I entered it and couldn’t get out

Finally, this can be a great game please don’t stop

Really good usage of the art assets, and the music is quite nice! 

The knives feedback hit is beautiful and juicy, well done!

However, I found that the physic of the main character is odd and a bit off, I felt that the enemies were more responsive visually than our main character. So I think if you improve the controls responsiveness & the physic of your main character, your game will improve a lot in terms of gameplay quality.

Interesting game! I didn't really I had the knives at first, which made it seem a lot harder than it actually was. haha
My recommendations would be to maybe move the knives and or jump to different buttons to make it a little easier to control. The character jump and gravity is also a little hard to get used to.

Cool game, the particle effects and the palette were nice. Lots of excellent feedback for hits and whatnot too. The character felt very floaty and weird to control though since he jumped so low yet had such low gravity. I would also suggest having the knives be thrown with a keyboard button because it is weird left clicking to shoot but not being able to aim
