Honestly, quite excellent. The controls took some getting used to and I think it could benefit from a bit higher acceleration and especially deceleration, but it was still quite fun and I could see potential for more complex or difficult sections if it were expanded.

You really did a good job here. The only thing that felt punishing was the damage when you hit the mountains, if the UFOs can pass over them so could I. But that's only a minor thing. It had a nice feel.

I really enjoyed how you handled perspective in this game!  A lot of Xevious, Defender, and Jungle/Urban/Desert strike vibes here.  I would check those games out for additional things you could implement to this game to give it a bit more polish and add more features.  Still, what you have here felt quite good, and the mechanics are solid.   Great work!

Awesome game here. The atari aesthetics combined very well with the assets. There a re plenty of mechanics for the alien invasion theme and original controls. One thing to improve is that i don't saw no visual feedback in the player ship sprite when it is hit by enemies by collision but it's a minimal detail.

Awesome game idea, the animations are also all really nice.

My only 2 problems with the game are:

1. The momentum, in my opinion there should be a much quicker deacceleration when not pressing forward and definitely when breaking. I often had a hard time fighting and even landing because of the controls. Though maybe that's different for other people.

2. The pacing, it started out really nice but then I had to pick up villagers from a few villages without any challenges, it would've been nice if some enemies were thrown in already slowly!

Those points didn't take away much from my enjoyment though so it's still a really solid game!

Looking good, You fixed a lot of the bugs we noticed in development. The game is great!

Nice! It was Raid on Bungeling Bay meets Choplifter. There is a lot of potential for this game. Please consider a different control scheme for the ship--think about something that would use the mouse in addition to keys. Or a twin stick style approach.

Not a bad little game, but didn't quite hit the mark for me. I feel like the 2 different goals were too separate, maybe more UFOs or invaders while I was evacuating the villagers? Otherwise once they're all safe there's no real danger (I think, may have just missed this).

The controls were pretty good, I got the hang of the momentum eventually so I could recharge my health quickly. Overall a pretty decent entry and a good idea. It leaves me wondering what happened on this world that has left them with only one defending ship. Doesn't look good for Seclusa!

That's pretty fun! The control is great and I love how you made this feeling of being in the sky in a top down game.

My only problem is with aiming, it's a little tricky to aim while controlling the ship.
Also I don't know if it's me staying up for two days or the colors in the game are too bright, but I got a little dizzy playing the game.

Great job!

The core gameplay is decent, but I didn't quite like the execution of it.

The color scheme just doesn't look very good, it feels like I'm playing this on a 70s TV, and not in a good way. The lighting are good at most places but fall flat at a lot of stuffs too, like the crosshair which just have weird shading that it doesn't need to have. Feels like this could benefits a lot from a bit more juicing.

Combat feels okay, but really slows when you need to recharge your health and need to accurate hit an alien on the ground. Controls feels really unresponsive when accelerate and decelerate the plane.

As for the idea itself, it's fine...? There's nothing special about it, just fine I supposed.

The game has some very good use of the art pack, though I think you should've played around with the colours of the game a bit, especially the UI. The game itself was a bit challenging to play, it was really hard to aim. I wish you could point and shoot with your mouse and fly around with the WASD keys, rather than turning around with A & D keys.

This game is rad. The sound effects are chunky and remind me of the Atari. I also like the art style - I can't put my finger on it but it looks so different from the assets while also looking just like the assets. That makes no sense but I really like it.

My only note is that I wish it would either take you back to the main menu automatically upon dying or have another screen pop up because the prompt at the top is a bit hard to read.

Thanks for that feedback.

As far as the art style: I used a ton of normal mapping to bring in a lot of 2D lighting, which means that most things that move respond to a couple of lights. It adds a lot of flair to the game, I think.

The flight movement is really satisfying

Thanks! There are more plans I have for the game, but I wanted to get that up and going.
