Very fun game. I included it in my LOWREZJAM compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Awesome job! It got a little too hard for me on level 3 haha. The graphics are great, the gameplay is simple but also interesting and the music responding to your speed is a really nice touch.

Oh this is really cool! A simple concept executed beautifully. I really love how the tempo of the music is affected by the speed of the wheel. Tough, but not impossible, looks and sounds great, outstanding job!

A standout game in the jam. Tight controls and fun mechanics. Excellent job!

Good lord that was a challenging game. Super polished, fluid controls (worked well even when I used my trackpad). Now I want a super lowrez Mariokart.

You need to add drifting to the shapes XD

This game is really well polished! It's very fun and the music is great! Overall great job I like it a lot!

Developer

Thanks! I tried to keep  it simple so I could focus on core  gameplay and polish.

Very well polished and certainly one of the more readable 3D games in 64x64 I've seen. Felt very much akin to Stun Runner, Sky Roads, and can definitely feel the echo from the other comment of No Second Prize and Vroom when using the mouse to control.

Slightly disturbed by the fact my spinning cube appears to bleed when the game is over, though!

Developer

Thank you. Readability is one of the hardest things with this low res 3D.  Also thanks for the other game references, I am checking them out on youtube now.

Developer

Oh wow, I remember playing sky roads a lot when I was a kid.  That game is awesome.

my wife totally loved the sound effects xD I also agree the controls feel good, even though I wasn't able to get super far. I loved the colors in the title screen and on the horizons too. very stylish

Developer

Thank you. I made all the sound effects using my own sound effect generator zzfx.  The cool part is that instead of saving the sounds as wavs, I just play a 4 digit seed like z(4239), that's the jump sound! Makes it so much easier to put in and change sounds.

You can try it at http://zzfx.3d2k.com

I just finished making the trailer...

Very responsive. Had my doubts about how a 3d game with this view would play in 64x64 but it's quite nice.
Good entry!

Thank you. Yes I was also skeptical at first and almost gave up. It actually took a lot of tuning to make the 3d graphics readable with such few pixels.

Very good, the gameplay is always fair, and every error feels like it's the player fault XD. I liked also the graphics. The music going faster with the speed was a nice touch.

Developer

Thank you, I spent a long time balancing the gameplay this time around.

Really addictive! It controls very smoothly, so the challenge is fun and not frustrating, and the music was pretty good, too.

Developer

Thank you!

Really enjoyed this. Ever since "No Second Prize" on the Amiga I've thought more people need to use the mouse as an analog steering input for racing games. I'm not great at this - can't quite beat the first track yet, but I'm getting better each run, and going back in for more.

Developer

Thanks! I hope you give it another shot.  If you have an xbox 360 controller that also works!

The gameplay was smooth and the graphics nice.

Good job! :-)

Thanks!

Awesome work :o Very pleasant to play. The sound atmosphere is very good. Good job !

By the way, I made a little video that brings together some of the LOWREZJAM games to show a little glimpse of them and you're in it :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qr0jzLB4-QE

Great game!! But it was hard for me thou)) Beutiful game design

Developer

How far did you get? What was the hardest part for you?

Submitted(+1)

I was dying every time. I step by step realised what the posibilities to move i have, but I just don't play such games and i need practice to overcome even one level.)) But i like the smartness of game design choises.
