Cool game. Quite impressive the variety you subgenres you created for a single jam. Congrats !! =)

Developer

Thank you

Wow! I was shocked how much content there was!

Such cool idea with loop of life.

I really enjoyed it and it was fun with multiple minigames!

Well done :D

Developer(+1)

thank you too

Are you nuts? Planning a ton of minigames for a game jam is usually a recipe for disaster... but wait... you actually pulled it off? Huge congrats for making it work. That’s no small feat!”

Developer

Thank you so much, we’re really glad you appreciated our approach to development.

Developer

Fun fact: we had plans to include a hornet and a ferret, but by a surprising twist of fate, we felt we wouldn’t have time to finish them.

Stunning art, and super cool idea! Great job!

Thank you)

Submitted(+1)

cool idea! i enjoyed finishing a level to find out what the next iteration was!

Developer

I really hope you were able to see the ending and uncover the story :)

Submitted(+1)

Omg why did you make me come back and finish it?? That ending was traumatizing 😭
Really clever interpretation of the "loop" and life cycle theme though — beautifully done and emotionally brutal. <3

Developer(+1)

I really hope you got to see it — the artists spent a whole day working on it :)

Submitted(+1)

Great use of the theme! The minigames are fun and some quite challenging, but the progression loop kept me hooked. The really like the art style and the ambient audio complements it! There was some frustration with being reset to the beginning after death, but replaying the minigames can be fun and mastering each stage is rewarding so it's not a huge issue. Overall I would highly recommend this game, great work!

Developer(+1)

Yes, thank you. The whole issue with replaying is tied to the theme of the loop — the worm starts from the skeleton of the previous animal, and that’s how we wanted to show the cycle. At the build stage, stepping away from this idea could’ve risked us losing the theme, so we decided to limit saving.

Submitted(+1)

Very creative on the interpretation of the loop theme. The fish part was so hard ahah

Developer(+1)

The fish part is actually very simple. During the build stage, all the games were separated out, and everyone more or less got used to it after a few tries. But once we put the full story together, during testing everyone was getting through it automatically.

Very creative, collection of minigames that represent the various stages of the food chain.  the art is really good, and the transitions are great.

I think with more polished controls for certain parts like the fish and worm, and having checkpoints for each animal this game would have a lot of potential as a educative game.

Felicidades!

Developer

Pluses: cretivity game, interesting concept, cool miniggames, cool art style. Minuses: When you lose, you restart from the beginning (thats not good idea), art is different in all parrts of the game and in cutscenes.

I am enjoed your minigames, it was fun, but when i restarted, it was bored to replay long minigames, that i already done

Developer(+1)

The graphics are objectively varied because the goal was to bring together three artists with different styles into one project. From the start, the idea was to show how different animals perceive the world differently — for example, the worm and the fish are more primitive and see things in pixel art (we also wanted to go with black and white), and as you progress, the vision gets clearer. We just didn’t have enough time to really highlight and play that up beautifully.

Developer(+1)

Regarding replaying the mini-games — it was all tied to the theme of “loop.” We were trying to show the cycle: that after death, the animal’s skeleton ends up in the ground, and you start over. The soul’s transition was shown through the eye color, though how well we managed to highlight that is an interesting question.

Submitted

In any case, if the player loses, he has to start over, no matter where he is, which makes every death very unpleasant.

I love your art style

Developer

Thank you for appreciating our artists.

This game looks beautiful and is very meditative. All the minigames I made it to seemed to work well, and were well explained and easy to pick up.

Developer

We’re really glad you enjoyed it :)

The ciiiiircle of liiiiife!
I like how much variety you managed to include w/ all the different minigames

I do wish some of them had a bit more mechanical depth for how long each section lasts (I'd love having a dash action on the fish), but it was a fun play

Developer(+1)

We had a bit of an issue with the fish — we tested it separately, and it seemed pretty reasonable. In the final version, we increased the player’s speed, but it doesn’t seem like that made things much easier for new players.

The theme and art of this game shine brilliantly. This mini-game collection stirred memories of my past.

What a magnificent Game Jam game! Life itself is an endless, unceasing cycle.

Developer

We’re really glad you were able to enjoy the game :)

Great collection of minigames, impressive breadth of content! The drawings were really nice as well.

Developer

Thank you so much for your interest.

Really interesting interpretation of the theme with a nice selection of mini games! Did not expect to get jump scared by a frog right out the gate though.

Developer

In nature, as in life, life is harsh — and we tried to reflect that through the contrast between the cuteness and simplicity of the games themselves, and what happens in the moments between them.

Submitted(+1)

Great collection of mini games with a pretty art style. A good interpretation of the theme and an overall well polished game, nice work!

I really like the art style and the circle of life is a really nice interpretation of the theme!

Thank you for your interest.

Cool game! I love the concept and the artstyle. The worm stage reminds me of the cell stage in Spore

Developer(+1)

During development discussions, we drew inspiration from io games and friendly debates. I wanted to recreate the “cell stage,” which ended up being reflected in the fish, while the worm took inspiration from Slither.io.

This is impressive, does it has multiple endings? It seems there's at least two branches but I never beat the bird level. I feel tempted to play it a little more later. The artwork is amazing, good sound, your answer to the topic is amazing, my only complain is that the controls feel a bit slow, stiff perhaps, and having to start from zero every time is a bit rough

Developer(+1)

The level with the bird (duck) moves the story forward, and after that, another animal will eat you as the worm — and from there you’ll reach the ending fairly quickly.

Submitted

Then I guess I completed it? That's a pretty interesting approach then. Really enjoyed playing it.

Developer(+1)

Yes, we should’ve added an extra dialogue box so that after the duck, the player would understand they need to continue the cycle and that the story is only approaching its resolution. At this point, not everyone picked up on that.

Developer(+1)

Whether you win or lose as the duck, you’ll return to the worm — but after completing the worm segment, a different story awaits you.

Submitted

Thanks for the clarification, I kind of guessed it because that second time you start from the carcass of the duck, but since I didn't manage to win, I didn't know if there was another branch.

Developer(+1)

That’s our issue — there were so many details we wanted to show, and until the very end we didn’t want to use any text in the game. We aimed to convey everything through visuals and symbols. But as it turns out, not all players are willing to engage that deeply with the process, and sometimes it’s just easier to explain things with words :)
