Thank you for playing and I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing and for the praise! we can't take credit for the character design, but I'll make sure our composer/musician sees your feedback!

Thanks for playing! And yes we spent hours trying to decide on the protag and the pug really embodies it I think haha

Thanks for playing, we're glad you enjoyed!

I love the art of the game, great job! I feel like it would be even more fun with a more hectic set of interactions like needing to match the cup, type of boba, and flavors in addition to just the level of the liquid.

I'm a big fan of the 1bit minimalist style, great job!

I did run into a bug where I ran off the top right corner (i think on the right) and it seemed to cause an infinitely loop of something to get called every frame and crashed the game.

I love the art work, great job!

I love bringing classic lit and art house movie inspirations into video games. I could see a more polished version of this art style being expanded into a full game, love it!

I like the early, cursed arcade game vibe it feels like it came out of an early 2000's creepy pasta.

Very cute! I loved the short, sweet, and I love the tactility of the game!

Great vibes, love the art style and concept. I found it tough to read everyone's story in 20sec and make a decision. to keep the 20 second limitation a solution could be to make a visual representation somehow or something similar.

Thanks! We appreciate you playing and the kind words! We'll address that bug post-jam, thanks for calling it out!

I'm in love with the punk style graphics and shaders I love everything about this entry!

man the sprite work on this game is lovely, it's as good as OG nintendo work. Amazing job!

very, very, very creative, I love it, amazing job!

Very creative, the art is some of the best I've seen in a game jam!

I love the boldness of just having the floating head! very creative

nice, that's very cute, very clever, I'm always a sucker for monty python art style.

→  ← → A - this is SO FREAKING GOOD! it makes me jealous beyond reason. Amazing job!

Love the theming and it's a super cute game. A small bit of feedback is that the controls feel a bit floaty which makes it a bit tough, maybe a faster movement speed between grids might make it feel a bit more responsive?

I really like the concept, it's a nice tightly integrated loop and idea, I love the UI interactions. I do think it would benefit from a slightly more forgiving time limit or tying the time limit to your actions (like the headlights being on) if you continue to develop the project.

What a lovely experience, beautiful made and super atmospheric amazingly done!

Thanks! We're glad you enjoyed the game, we'll definitely take your feedback when tuning it post-jam!

Thanks for playing! We're glad you liked it!

Thanks for playing and the kind words! We're glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! best of luck on your project!

Really interesting idea to loop controls in platformer, great job!

It's a really interesting concept to take a survivor's like and then remove almost all player agency and leave everything up to the loop, I like it! Great job

Very nice job, this might be the best sokobond I've played this jam, great job!

Great job! I really liked the mechanics and I'm always a sucker for a looping boss rush with meta jokes. I did run into what seemed like a bug with double jump not working consistently.

Oh man, I'm in love with this game, amazing job and I love that you tied the sound design to the tape.

Really nice, it reminds me of a Thai "Exit 8", great job!

great suggestion!

Lol, thank you I'm really glad you liked the game!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it. We'd planned a number of other looping mechanics but dropped them to polish the core loop (pun intended)

Thanks for playing! we'll fix the bugs post-ratings

thanks for playing!

thanks for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed!

(1 edit)

Man that's a huge compliment coming from you all, your project looks production ready. Thank you!
